Gosh what a great interview, I can really tell they’re engaged and not just tired of answering the same obvious questions every time. I love your energy! Also wowww I love your nails! That whole look is fantastic. I keep getting distracted by your amazing fashion and having to rewind to catch what they’re saying! And yeah, I really enjoy how they get more downtime in this season. I’ve seen people call it filler, but low-stakes character interactions are so key! Retired Five and Diego having more mundane parental issues… it’s just a nice contrast. And I feel like we even see a brief glimpse of how Reginald might’ve been had he had any chill like David talked about - what with “go get em, TJ!” and singing along to Ride Wit Me. Something about liking old TV and chill hiphop endeared him a little, even though he’s still firmly an evil heartless manipulative bastard.

Good interviews as usual however I disagree with Emmy/Alison. I am tired of seeing Black characters being confined to the Black experience storyline. I watch TV for escapism. They don't do this with other POC characters. They are allowed to exist outside the race lens.

That is not what Allison said. If you don't like it then don't watch it. I one the other hand love seeing how resilient, proud and resourceful our elders and ancestors were.

There are too many shows that only give race storylines to Black people meanwhile other poc and White characters are allowed to just be. Anyway, you clearly don't get it. This has nothing to do with honoring Black people who fought for equality etc.

@@emileigh6524 She also talked about season 3 and how different it is. She had one season during the Jim Crow era and there has been three seasons of the show. If that season was so awful for you, please you feel free to watch Friends on repeat and skip the few Aisha Tyler and Phil Morris episodes. No one is stopping you. I also looked a your music Playlist. Plenty of Black people singing and rapping about the Black experience. So you are OK with listening to the Black experience but don't want to see it? Weird, but do you what makes you happy.

I admit, I want something different for Allison this season. She explored the issues of being black in a racist setting last season, but now I’m more interested in seeing how she will deal if her daughter was never born in this timeline, finding out what happened to Ray after she left, and the changes to their present.
