Brer Rabbit : It wasn’t even his brother. It was his brother’s wife who told his brother about the similarities. She was an English professor and noticed the patterns and consistencies.

Well the cops were the ones that decided to publish the manifesto so it was the result of their work that his brother was able to recognize the work.

It’s always the perp that ends up getting themselves caught. No matter how smart they are they all do a stupid thing that ends up getting them caught. Cops collect the crumbs and hope for a mistake to be made.

Well kelly star, just where did he get to bomb making money from and it shows that ever package bomb he made and sent off he took a trip to a different place to mail it right.i own my own small plane now but it does cost me money for that now,so how did he pull all the bombing off now.and where did he get his bomb parts to now,the FBI could have traced that one to because they examined ever bomb peace that he ever made and should have knowed where each peace had came from.and I just dont think he was going into that small town near him and buying it at his local hard ware store eather right.and gun power now to,well I do own quite a fue guns myself and do reload my own ammo with the same power that he was using now.and he had to be checked for that now to because I have been, its just kind of crazy all the things he got away with with being cault and with out having a great deal of money to do this with now.im pretty sure he done it but where's the coming from is my question is all now!!!!!?????

Luckly, they decided to stop him. Families should be knitted together, protecting their relatives. To a point ! Could you stay put, leading a regular, happy Life, knowing that a brother was going to pursue his serial killings ? Since early School years, nobody liked snitches. In this case, becoming accessories in crime was not the proper option.

@@albertseabra9226there are family members of missing people, murder victims and SA who suspect that family members of the people last seen with their loved ones know more than they’re saying but are refusing out of loyalty to their family. I know of a missing person’s cold case that’s almost 40 years old where the friends of the missing person have lied to authorities about events and the family suspects that the friends families might know or suspect more but aren’t sharing. If a family member flipped and revealed what happened that night to their loved one, it would give them answers and they would be able to close the book on the disappearance and hopefully bury the remains.

Actually he chose the right way. He wrote a long essay, in haste however, detailing the negative effects of the industrial revolution. And to publicize this essay he did the most shocking and newsworthy thing possible, in a proper context of course. The only reason why ANYONE knows about his essay at all is because of his campaign. If he had done literally anything else, nobody would have cared. What were his other options if you are so qualified to criticize his actions? Go door to door like a Jehovah's Witness? Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

Sally Lauper there are some people who are experts in different types of food that consult for cases. The state of a food item could give an indication of when the crime occurred. Different brands, flavors, and combinations in sherbet and ice cream can change how long it takes to melt, warm up, and sometimes have the ingredients separate. If you found a melted bowl of ice cream that’s still a bit cold at a crime scene, it can indicate when the event began/the bowl was abandoned. I had a forensics professor talk about this a few times during class.

@@ookydooky8892 As smart as he was, he totally could've found some equally spectacular ways to get his message across and get people talking/thinking about him to the extent they did that doesn't involve a direct attack on human life. It definitely seems like a lot of personal resentment towards the people he viewed to be at the forefront of this "technological enslavement" was involved in his decision to go about it in the way he did, and most of the examples that immediately come to mind of causing a big enough disturbance to divert the general society's attention (on par with the looming threat of bombings) involve interfacing with the existing technology at some level - which I'm guessing he hated.

I am 39 years old, and I could never forget this man. The Unabomber scared us all from opening mail. The same as the DC Sniper (John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo) scared us from going out in public, Richard Reid the Shoe Bomber scared us from flying commercially, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols made us afraid to visit any local or federal government buildings, and 9/11 scared us all to stay out of important skyscrapers (which shocked me and I spent the next four days on my couch unable to eat or drink, seized in fear and shock), not to mention the 1994 bombing of the WTC towers, which I also distinctly remember from when I was a kid. At least our government were able to find all of those who were responsible for these crimes and get them off the streets. Thank God for our great detectives.

In almost every episode in the series, they explain why the FBI & not local police had jurisdiction. For example it wasn't until depression era finance reforms that the federal government insured every deposit [up to 250K]. So that means if a FDIC backed bank gets robbed the FBI by law automatically gets jurisdiction. Another example is assassinating or attempting to, a US president. It wasn't until after the Kennedy assassination that the US congress passed a law mandating it a federal crime, so it was the Dallas PD that took charge of investigating.
