There were some moments of Brilliance in Bottas's career and while He is no Hamilton- and not even necessarily a Hakkinen or Raikkonen, He definitely was better than a wingman and possibly more convincing than Webbrr, Barrichello or Massa

Valtteri has always been my favourite f1 driver and i think he was capable of winning a championship and he isnt being helped by his useless sauber team then that is limiting his chances of being with Audi project, also in his early career he won a catergory cant remember what championship but he is the only person to ever do it. I dont think he has been as bad as you make it out to be in his alfa/ sauber times as well as most people not dissing vid and it was a really interesting vid

Disagree on 2024. He's been driving brilliantly, 6-0 quali to Zhou and only reason he hasn't got points is because of the team

He's been stellar in Quali but in the races his pace has dropped, excluding China and possibly Bahrain

Well Bahrain Zhou was 0.02 behind Bottas and Jeddah Zhou didn't get to run a lap Australia Zhou's front wing rip off by itself and Japan Zhou have a Fuel system issues they replaced the whole floor and run the quli with no set-up so I wouldn't say the gap as big as the status

Guy has 20 pole positions, 10 wins and 50-60 podiums. And would have much more wins without team orders. How is that "underwhelming"? Maybe 2% of the F1 drivers will ever reach those numbers.

@@TMWF1 He was very fast. Excellent in qualifying. So many poles. Even with good car that's quite a number. He was probably just too nice guy to become a champion.

Bottas had a better career than most drivers, by a good margin. If thats underwhelming than lewis is slightly above average 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

the reason why it's underwhelming is relative to bottas's potential that he had shown at williams; he could have been a world champion, and ultimately was not. That is why I think his career is underwhelming, relative to what he could (and maybe should) have been.
