The US military was incredibly small going into WW2, because it downsized heavily after the first. It struggled to keep recruitment up because nobody wanted to get involved in "another European war" as well as the Great Depression, and it took like two years for it's industrialization and training of new soldiers to actually start turning the war in significant ways after the attack on Pearl Harbor. We lost basically everything in the Pacific at first. It just doesn't seem like it because all the movies and stuff tend to start on or after D-Day when we were finally able to throw hundreds of thousands of troops and vehicles at Europe after the North African campaign, or after Midway when the Pacific really started to go south for Imperial Japan. Granted there was really no way for the US to lose simply due to it's sheer amount of resources and population, and it's capacity for industrialization on a frankly insane level, but the first few years of the war were horribly bad for the Allies.

The idea of Hell Let Loose incorporating elements from Squad and expanding to include other eras of warfare, such as modern combat, is an intriguing one. Both games have their unique strengths and a combination could potentially create a compelling experience. Incorporating multiple eras of warfare, including modern combat, could attract a broader audience. Players interested in different historical periods or modern warfare would find more content to engage with. Offering different settings and time periods would provide variety in gameplay. some of my core memories with this game is playing assault, 1 where i literally didn't stop running til the last point, and another where i played medic and had like 4000 support points, just because the server allowed for high ping and i was ballsy enough to run right across the path of 3 MG42's to revive the 6 guys that got chopped in half by them, literally dodging bullets chucking smokes, reviving everybody on the front and pushing the point because nobody could/would do it with at least 34 MG's looking at them

I played it with some friends a time ago before the team 17 thing and it was cool all way through. sadly the squad desintegrated and i have no mates that want to play this gem with me anymore. cool video by the way 🙂

I am old enough to have spoken to many WW2 vets decades ago as a child. Every single one of them told me "We didn't go there to save other nations, we went there to make sure that it never happens here". The last 3 generations through that all away. Hell to pay alright.

You have one of the purest, simplest, and most perfect length for topic covered videos I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing this bliss; you've earned by sub and those of thousands of others P.S. I really dig that song you have playing for most of the video. What's it called?

He’ll let loose is my favorite game, and really does have the best community in gaming. You don’t get many weirdos or racist and people will be more than willing to help you even if you’re a noob that slid into the squad leader or commander slot. And the game play is intense

I grabbed this game for two used to be friends and they both did not have a good time - needless to say I’ve been playing this game since 2021 and honestly I play it religiously- good video I’ll look for you on the battlefield

I’m almost at a 100 hours and couldn’t be more proud of myself. Level 47 and learned how to set nodes, how to lead a squad and best positions to place OPs when attacking and defending. Just learning how to place attack garries and defensive garries as SL

Seeing Habie promise to end stream after getting hit by constant arty, and then biting our nails waiting for the next one to hit was one of the best stream experiences I've had. Thanks Habie for your wooden stock weapon addiction, you beautiful bastard.
