Him and his wife should be ashamed . The adults made it all about themselves. No reason he couldn't have included this girl in their family. She should have grown up knowing her siblings too. Any wife that could sit back knowing this little girl was excluded from her father's life is as selfish as it gets. She had no Father but Turquoise had her man! A cheating one at that. It takes a big person to put your feelings to the side and do the right thing for the child.

If anybody thinks that this man was "forced" to not have anything to do with his daughter they are, in a word, a fool. Men do exactly what they want to do, especially when they have money and prestige. He had already fukked over his wife, with no protection, so making us believe he was so desperate to keep her is simply not believable. I feel so bad for this young lady being unacknowledged by her own father, and her mother going along with it. As for Dr. J's wife - why would you even want a man as sorry as that?

You sound like another man basher!!!! You type of women creep, sneak, cheat, and do a lot of dirt and always blame the man. Get a life and stop slutting around going after already successful, talented and married men and then blaming them when you get what you ask for. If these men were not in the spot-light you women wouldn't look at them let alone think twice about them and you know it. Bunch of gold diggers and poor excuses as mothers.

In another YT bio on Dr. J this other women would provided him oral services…, but she had just gotten metal dental braces… instead performed raw🍆…, 9 months later they have a baby daughter.. he’s committed adultery as a married, child was not planned, but a careless mistake.. over forty years ago at height of his celebrated🎉 NBA career probably not the time for this superstar, heroic family man and the 🏀face of Philadelphia 76ers franchise to make announcement of a child outside of marriage while wife Turquoise was well into her pregnancy🤰with their third child. Yes, financially he did what was right, but falls short by his wife’s demand of no contact with child with other woman.. even if he saw child just once a year for family vacation she would have met and spent time with her siblings, also birthdays and showing up for special occasion, like a father-daughter dance, those tennis events…, as a family court judge once put it “it’s not the quantity of time, but quality of time”… sure his wife demands also put a lot more stress on an already fragile marriage which years down the road ended in divorce after loosing a child tragically… Well, he’s just a man, not a perfect man…, Dr. J one my ALL time favorite ABA & NBA basketball 🏀players, he’s one our world class greatest athletes, and has remain genuinely humble… It was in God’s timing ⏱ in October 2008 his now adult daughter Alexander Stevenson, who reached out to her father Julius Erving and he was there and freely willing to build a relationship right where they were in life.. things happen when they are suppose to happen!! NKJV, Isaiah 46:10 I declare the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and all My good pleasure I will accomplish.' ✝️❤️

@@julslatt6294 I'm not sure what you wrote all of this to say. It is crystal clear that he "made a mistake". "Even if he saw child just once a year" was simply not what transpired. He NEVER communicated with her and didn't even know her when he saw her in person when she was a teenager. It doesn't matter at what point in time and what it appeared to be to the sports public, that is his child and he just simply ignored her. Each and every person living makes mistakes, but to characterize your own child as a "mistake" and go on with your lavish lifestyle and treat them as if they don't exist is tragic and cruel. I too am a huge fan of Dr. J, the basketball player. But I know that a skillset and a moral compass are two entirely separate issues.

One thing that is relevant that you missed about that Dr Coach she had was that he was later found to be a child predator. In Pete Sampras’s book he said he never experienced anything bad from the man but it became very tough for Pete to be attached to this creep’s story, because Pete obviously didn’t have the guy’s back. It makes me wonder if Alexandra experienced anything bad with the same coach.

@@frederickbradford7799 thanks for the heads up .. although I see did share the truth about Dr. J... Michael Jordan needs to pay homage to the Dr. For giving life to basketball.. their was a time when major advertising did not anything to do with blacks and the NBA

The problem is that men with options need to stop promising to be faithful to one woman. It's not natural. Be transparent from the beginning and give her the option to take it or leave it. I'd say 9 out of 10 times the woman will take it.

Well we all have our opinions. I spent a week with DOC and he is a good man with flaws just like all others on this earth. The minute people start making comments like this and passing judgments line they are annointed to do so just speaks to how far we have fallen. The brother didn't kill anyone he made a mistake move on and work on your mistakes😊👍🏽👋🏾
