Oh, he’s GORGEOUS!! I am a labor and delivery nurse, and I’m so sorry you didn’t get the birth exactly that you wanted. That is often the case, especially with first babies. If it makes you feel any better, I think you did exactly right in making the choices that you did. Besides, baby is healthy, you’re healthy, and that’s all that matters!! Congratulations!!!🎉 💙💙💙

I have had 4 kids first child emergency C-section because he was coming fast, so there no option for the epidural, but he git stuck, so had to do an emergency C-section the other 3 was totally natural. I say mom knows her body and her baby, so if you feel you need something, then you need it. Thank God all went well with you and your beautiful baby. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

As a midwife I advise ladies if your membranes break, please go in. Walking around with broken membranes can result in cord prolapse which is a major emergency you wont be able to cope with at home.
