Thankyou had my car in the garage for over a week bought new sensor had new clutch flywheel dpf work done and then this happend i thought it would never work very nearly went for new fuel pump sent this link to my local garage within 10minuets it was fixed thankyou very much sirr

What did you get them to do learn the fuel pressure sensor? And it worked as I got same issue said my sensor was faulty changed it for brand new one and it kicks the message on less but still does it occasionally and enters limp mode I haven't done the learn mode so going to do that. Did that fix yours ?

I have the same problem on my 2.0 cdti it says fuel pressure sensor I got a new one and it kicks the message on less but guessing I need to do the learn section to and should be ok

I know this is over a year old. I have the same car as this and the revs bounce. Not all the time but intermitently. When running its almost like the car is about to stall but catches again causing surging and dropping of power. No codes are being stored at all. Ive replace the scv, maf sensor, fuel filters and sensors and still no joy. I really dont want to scrap the car as when it runs its great. Any ideas or suggestions?. Im thinking maybe i bought a faulty scv? Even though it was new.

My money would be on the SCV and good one costs £80 in the uk

01:45 'pump not timed properly' can you explain how to time the common rail fuel pump? 😂😂

Sometimes common rail pumps have to be timed up with a timing tool when the timing belt is replaced so that the injector sprays when the cam shaft lobe is at its highest point driving the pump

@@sandyande All the injectors share a *common* rail, all the pump has to do is keep that rail pressurised, the firing of the injectors is electronic, controlled by the ECU.
