My Mom too, I’m 75 and had relatives in northern Alberta, Canada who were from England and Scotland they were quite British. A picture I recently saw showed the Queen on a stage from the 60’s, dozens of women smartly dressed with their backs to the Queen holding their compacts up so they could see Queen, and next to it from 2016, women in casual dress facing Her with cellphones held up taking videos. I already miss the manners, politeness and behaviors. I hope you have a great summer 🌞

John was so true to himself. Feet remain steadfastly on the floor. Loved this actor and convincing an actor he was, he was a joy to watch. His family love and respect him, that says it all. That scene Sheila mentions of him alone near the end in Morse, still draws you into his thoughts when you view it. You experience and understand that moment. What an actor. That last episode was heartbreaking. You couldn't imagine tv viewing without Morse. Now without John! Gone too soon. R.I.P John and deepest sympathy to you family and friends. He didn't lose his humanity and remained so modest too. God Bless. ❤️

Family support is everything….John was fortunate to have loving siblings. Seems like a good Father too….he made no bones about it. “Mom’s gone, so it’s just us. Were take care of each other”. The truth, not much you can do to change it except….you know you have each other. ♥️👍

He left us too early and his wife and family must miss him immensely.

I met Mr Thaw and his wife Ms Hancock at a soiree once. I was a huge fan of Morse .. I was left so disappointed. I eagerly greeted him not in a flirtatious manner or anything. He mumbled a brief comment then his awful rude wife turned to me and said Move on Mrs...I was gobsmacked.. I heard many others say the same about Sheila. I dont think John was comfortable with his fame...but there is no excuse for the rudeness of his wife.
