You need a medal.this is the simplest and clearest process, including the omission of set up stitches. I don’t know why it hasn’t been promoted more but it Definetely deserves to be

I’ve been knitting for over 60 years and this is the first time I didn’t have a knot of fear in my stomach doing the Kitchener stitch! Terrific explanation and tutorial!

Watching you do the Kitchener stitch made so much sense!! So much easier. A million thank yous. My socks have looked nice until I look at the end of the toe. Yikes! So glad they were hidden in the shoe. Your tutorials are the best. Thank you for not speaking to fast! I am deaf, I can understand you with heavy hearing aids.

This is fantastic! Thank you! I found it especially helpful to be able to figure out where I am when I inevitably lose track. Yarn in front, move to the back. So many tutorials just tell you to focus and don't stop!

I just learned to do magic!!! Thank you. I am looking at my first sock, and am in awe of the continued columns of stockinette stitches, where the pattern suggested pulling it closed like a hat. THANK YOU. This is a beautiful stitch. Why are people hating on it so much?

Honestly, I have watched so many Kitchener stitch videos and not one of them has clicked with my brain until this one. I have avoided top-down socks for so long because I dreaded grafting the toes, and when I did attempt them, the grafting looked terrible, particularly at each end. This was so simple and clearly explained. I think what really made an impression was how you explained to work the first stitch on each needle AS IT APPEARS; that was all it took for me. Just WOW! Thank you so much, Ellen!

Finally a method that eliminates the dog ears !!! I though I was doing something wrong when following other tutorials that claim to "Eliminate the dog ear" !.... All along I was thinking it seems to be the set up stitches that are creating the problem. WOW !!!! thanks for setting me on the right track. The mitten I just crafted is so tidy!!! AMEN !

I realise you posted this video 2 years ago and may never see this note of gratitude but thank you so much! I have struggled so much with this bind off to the point I quit even trying patterns if it was noted you had to Kitchener anything.
