I've always loved the Unicorn Tapestries. Had not considered significance the renderings of nature. Thank you for this, it's been fascinating and highly enjoyable!

Thank you for fascinating commentaries on this Unicorn tapestry. I have a reproduction of it in my house and have enjoyed a few trips to the Cloisters especially to see the unicorn tapestries. My artist daughter even did a wonderful drawing of the gardens when she was seven back in 2008!

I’ve seen the Lady and the Unicorn and Five Senses tapestries at Le Musée de Cluny in France and often confuse them with this series. I absolutely love the artistry and details here- just incredible. I look forward to viewing these in person someday soon. Thanks for this content!!

Thank you for making this available. Very interesting, much appreciated. Hope to see this and the other Unicorn tapestries again some day. One possible correction to the commentary: "baby elephant"--not likely on account of the large tusks; instead, small elephant, to be in scale with the rest of the composition.

The tapestries' depiction of the unicorn, a mythical creature, purifying water symbolizes purity, innocence, and divine grace. The attention to detail in the weaving and the vivid colors used bring the scene to life, making it a timeless masterpiece that continues to inspire wonder. - Allison Blease

Thank you for your excellent lecture on the magnificent and beloved unicorn tapestry. Unfortunately the visuals were difficult to access, often too small and confusing.
