Oh wow! You know, people talk about the UP's Big Boys, Challengers, and the Northerns but I just LOVE those 9000's! A 4-12-2! Now how over-the-top is that? A boiler like a long steel cigar, 12 drivers, and that super-long connecting rod going uuuuuuup-down, uuuuuuup-down! Just a treat for the eyes! Thanks for posting!

You know that 9000 is a solid runner! It’s long, but for some reason it graces the rails and doesn’t seem out of place like the big boy does on O72 curves. I still love that big boy however! Thanks for tuning in my friend!
