A lot of these idols don't need a reboot. Some of them aren't even idols yet and are still trainees. This show lost its core concept very early in the show, so there isn't really anything we can do about it. I was a fan of A.C.E. before this show so I will support them no matter what. Also, even though they've only been out 5 months, doesn't mean they don't need any type of promotion.

What the hell? I've been KissMe for five years and i was so sad when i saw Jun. He's like my child. U-Kiss lost their popularity after Ma Man Ha Ni and also a lot of fans turned their backs after Eli's wedding and the birth of his child. It's so fucking sad. They have so many great songs, like Neverland, Standing Still, Quit Playing, Stalker... They are working really hard everytime for their comebacks and even tho Kevin left the group this year (just wanted to mention they held a mini concert for his departure, that's how sweet they are) they are still working like crazy. Many new kpop fans these days don't know that U-Kiss are BIG sunbaenims in the industry. It’s honestly not smart to audition with more people because if you don’t stand out as much as your group members you’ll be disqualified for sure. It is sad that U-KISS is such an underrated group despite their true talent in singing, dancing, acting, and interesting physical appearance. I was shocked when DongHo and then Kevin, the center of UKISS, left the group. But finally, I'm glad Jun gained much compliments and attractions here. It's August 17, 2021, I am a Choice watching A.C.E's stepping stones, touring through their idol milestones. It hasn't been easy for them, coming from a relatively new and small company. They are its first artists. They have to make themselves known in any possible way they can think of. They busked in the streets, utilized the social media... I hope that, old and new fans will still be watching them in the next 4 years, and more, and more. They are very talented and hardworking and they definitely deserve the spotlight too. I came here for Jun from U-Kiss, and I'm so glad I did. U-Kiss was the group that got me into K-pop, but I did wonder why Jun ended up as their newest member instead of debuting with a new group that likely would have gotten him more attention, considering how talented he is. I thought maybe NH Media had another boy group in the works but it fizzled out, and so they placed Jun with their older group. I had no idea he purposely chose to join U-Kiss because he wanted to. And the fact that he's so thankful to his members for accepting him, and that he's on this show for their sake and not his own... I love this boy even more now

I watched this first before Produce 101. I am a WANNABLE but while watching Prod 101, the talent and level of the contestants in THE UNIT is higher. Maybe because they've been training for years and have debuted so they have experience on the stage. And I love the Unit for that. Especially Jun, Feeldog, Eujin, and Kim Timoteo (So sad).

Good Day only debuted 3 months before this show started and they want to reboot? i mean come on it's only been 3 months. there aren't many groups that made it big from their debut song. i think this program should have been for idols that have debuted at least 1 year before. this is just my personal opinion.

@@caitlinyang3752 I disagree. You're either successful, or not. The Kpop world is different from western pop. If you don't succeed with the first debut, you'll never make it in the future unless you're group works hard together for more years to come. For example BTS, they could of disbanded back then because they couldn't get a successful amount of views for 4 years. Most groups don't last that long without disbanding. But because all the members were determined they never disbanded and became a big hit this year. I know many disbanded groups who didn't do well their first and second debut and their company forced the team to disband. It all depends on the company and members.

If you think about it, no contestant that participated on The Unit was part of the "Big 3 JYP/SM/YG" except Ji Hansol who was a SM Trainee at the time. All the guys and girls were from smaller companies. It shows how difficult it is to gain a career and fame as an Idol if you dont have big money backing you. Most of the Idol Groups that tragically disappear are or were from smaller companies, who never achieved their dreams. Watching this show, a lot of these guys and girls have talent. But it is uncertain on how they can break barriers.
