Volunteering in my daughter's 5th grade class over 20 years ago, I used song lyrics to encourage reading (with a little editing, of course). While "All Mixed Up" was a favorite, Friday's were special if the teacher said they were good during the week. Friday was for "Down", singing and dancing so hard and loud, they shook the portable their classroom was in. Thank you for that, my friends. 311 will always be a big slice of my life. 💜

Just saw them in troutdale oregon which is a small city thats connected to portland oregon!! They were playing at a place called edgefield micminnimans they rock!! 311 you guys always make me stay positive everyday!! I haven't seen a good band open for the 311 excitables in a long time and not going just for them after 20+ shows...I'm use too Deftones AAF MFZB incubus sugar ray expendables Ziggy snoop etc...now it's sublime crap and light weight bands...I'm done till you do so...sorry miT jmo
