Tina's dad is played by a guy who is a little over 18 years older than her, and looks it. Jaime Pressly was 29 when the movie came out, so probably 26-28 during shooting. Maybe the confusion is that the dad looks like he's her CURRENT age, and she currently looks unbelievable for 47. Or maybe it's the Hollywood brainwashing, where a guy nearing 50 is put in the same age category as a woman in her 20's.

I gave birth to this movie and I've never stopped being mad about it. 2014 I'm in labor for 23 hours, I take an epidural nap. Wake up, ready to push. I'm pushing for my life and I look up at the delivery room TV and someone had put THIS movie on. In between pushes I was thinking "what the HELL who put this weird insane movie on, what even is it!?" I later found out it was in fact DOA.

As a DoA fan, mega props for also looking into the game(s) as well as the movie extra notes: - the Ninja Gaiden games are happening in between the DoA games (with hayabusa hopping between the two) - Zack won the DOA3 tourney, and then went to a casino and got even more money and then built zack island (and the ingame currency is called zack dollars, a currency he made himself) - Christie intended to kill Helena, but instead shot her mother (also christie may or may not get off to the idea of killing helena more at 11) - Bayman has had beef with Christie since the first game where she left him for dead during a mission - "no blood" DoA up until 5 (4 maybe if you squint) didn't really have visual effects on the characters in fighting when you're hitting/getting hit by the other character and that included a lack of blood; but I don't know if the filmmakers were thinking that far. also comical with how much hayate is active in the plot of of the moie considering in the games, he was put in a coma for the first 3rd of the series runtime
