Sometimes, I feel bad for non-standard diesel like Class 21, Class 17, Class 28 or more. They wanted to be useful but their flaws such as bad design, problematic engines, expensive cost or all of them never agreed with them. And their owners like British rail, instead of trying to fix them chose to scrap them instead.

This was a good story that you have uploaded there. Poor Oliver. I felt very sorry for him when he was in terror. I’m glad he calmed down after he was very terrified. George should’ve got told off by The Fat Controller or The Thin Controller.

Do you believe that any of the class 21’s would of been able to escape from the other railway the same way samantha did? Also, how did samantha be able to escape like that? Wouldnt it have been harder by that time after the late 60s when oliver first came to sodor having done the same thing to save samantha? Wouldnt the crew of samantha need to presuade the central control people to let them run on the mainline at night since by then there were no signal boxes left? Also, wouldnt parking samantha in that siding out in the open during daytime when all the trains start coming out increase the risk of her being caught or found out? I know also by that time there were no abandoned sidings or any hidden track nearby like when oliver hid in the old quarry branch
