The Unnecessarily Complicated Guide to Pendulum Magician

Unfortunately, I made a mistake with both of the combos. In both combos you're supposed to first link off the astrograph (and beyond the pendulum or electrumite, depending on the combo) for exceed the pendulum instead of xyz summoning odd-eyes absolute dragon. Here are the corrected combo lines (starting from the mistake): Combo 1 (Supreme King Gate Magician + a way into another supreme king gate) 1. Link off beyond the pendulum and astrograph for exceed the pendulum. 2. Add astrograph sorcerer from your extra deck to your hand using exceed the pendulum. 3. Special summon astrograph sorcerer from your hand using exceed the pendulum. 4. Overlay supreme king gate magician and astrograph sorcerer for odd-eyes absolute dragon. 5. Link off supreme king starving venom and odd-eyes absolute dragon for I:P masquerena. 6. Special summon Odd-eyes vortex dragon from your extra deck with Odd-eyes absolute dragon's GY effect. Combo 2 (Supreme King Gate magician and any 2 pendulum monsters) 1. Link off electrumite and astrograph for exceed the pendulum (make sure to scale the supreme king gate magician in your hand before doing so). 2. Add astrograph sorcerer from your extra deck to your hand using exceed the pendulum. 3. Special summon astrograph sorcerer from your hand using exceed the pendulum. 4. Overlay supreme king gate magician and astrograph sorcerer for odd-eyes absolute dragon. 5. Link off supreme king starving venom and odd-eyes absolute dragon for I:P Masquerena. 6. Special summon Odd-eyes vortex dragon from your extra deck with Odd-eyes absolute dragon's GY effect.

Lol I'd rather just have astrograph back to three. Cause then his light side is super easy to use and set up both supreme king gates to trigger there effects to add and fusion or poly to the hand. And lol being locked it is dark pendulum summoning in the majority of the deck so it's not even a downside unless you run other attributes.

I really want electromite back, my metalfoes being hit just cuz of it... It hurts badly But I don't think it would be a thing, cuz konami has been recently banning this generic link monsters that's just too much on certain decks, sadly. We need a more balanced link2 similar to electromite

10:19 how can you summon exceed the pendulum with beyond the pendulum + odd eyes absolute dragon? Doesnt exceed the pendulum require at least one pendulum monster?

cant use electrumite and absolute for link summoning exceed the pendulum because u have to use at least 1 pendulum

You're absolutely right, made a mistake there. You're supposed to link electrumite / beyond the pendulum and astrograph for exceed the pendulum first before making absolute. Good catch!

I'm sure it'll eventually get unbanned as soon as they want to make more money off of it. But at the current moment it's a deck that at full power would be a threat as well since it could play through more stuff. But at the same time it's fragile and would brick easily.

There are plenty of OCG regions outside of Japan, especially now that Asian-English is being relaunched. I'm mostly providing english coverage for those regions since it's otherwise lacking. Unfortunately if you're looking specifically for TCG catered content, I don't provide that. But for those interested in seeing upcoming decks and how they've been doing in the OCG, I think there's still merit for english coverage.

It's a useful guide for people who play Master Duel. Nobody cares about the overpriced scam that's the TCG, except people with gambling addition and crippling debt.
