🚔 Life Behind the Badge: My Parents' Story in the RCMP, 1950s-60s 🚔
In this video, I share the incredible and often untold story of my parents, Raymond and Beulah Zinck, and their journey within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) during the 1950s and 60s. From my father’s early days in Northern Labrador to their challenging life in small-town detachments like St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, this narrative explores the profound personal sacrifices, resilience, and contributions made not just by RCMP officers but by their wives as well.
This video is also a tribute to the wives of RCMP members during this era. From feeding prisoners to providing emotional support for their families and communities, these women were the unsung heroes behind the iconic force. Their sacrifices and quiet strength deserve recognition, gratitude, and respect.
⚠️ Disclaimer: This story is based on personal accounts and historical insights. It reflects the experiences of one family and the challenges faced by many RCMP families during that time.
🙏 Thank You: To the families who stood behind their Mounties, your legacy of courage and dedication continues to inspire us all.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your story. I always felt I was too skinny for the RCMP.
