The importance of becoming the unperturbable man who is always centered, masculine, indifferent & calm.
In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a twenty eight year old woman who is a self-described alpha female who is about to graduate and become a doctor of psychology. She met a guy recently who is a med student. Because she asked some high quality questions, she discovered some major red flags that he was abrasive, hurtful and emotionally abusive towards his ex who had cheated on him and was also a compulsive liar. She wonders if the conflict they have sometimes is because she is too masculine and not as submissive as she could be. The reality is that she is dating a man who is stuck living in the past, lacks emotional self control and is too easily perturbable. She asks my opinion.
“The unperturbable man is a man who is sure of himself, calm, indifferent to chaos and exercises emotional self control. Exercising emotional self-control when angry or upset is the definition of masculinity. Remaining calm under fire or pressure is the best state to be in because we make better and more efficient decisions when we are in a peaceful and relaxed state. The unperturbable man chooses to remain calm, centered and in control of himself because he experiences his emotions, but is not hijacked by them.” ~ Coach Corey Wayne

Being thick skinned, stoic, and being able to process things objectively are some of the best traits that I have ever worked on since I followed Corey in 2017. Once you understand that emotions are feedback from the world built into us millions of years ago but that our brain has the ability to process these and understand them is what has allowed humans to break free from every other animal on earth. Most emotions stem from your ego trying to protect you from reality. Once you can let go then life becomes way easier.

Why are people talking about their past relationships with a potential lover?! That is a common mistake, and men are guilty because they are sucked in by women to discuss their past with women from the moment they meet. Doc Love once said: " Keep it positive on the date, no heavy subjects!"

When we've had narcissistic parents and or partners... we tend to be attracted to worse and worse narcissists until it gets bad enough that we seek to learn why we're repeating such a downward spiral of a pattern. When you heal much of that deep trauma, then your eyes begin to open in such a way like never before. You start to see how standing up for yourself is worth it and just the beginning of living. It's a beautiful process. Understanding is everything.

How to recognise one etc etc. Love his narc tales, and seduction and ensnared story series - great for testing your new skills! 9:30 Becoming perturbable is not masculine. That’s a lack of masculinity and of emotional self-control. 10:00 People that go around accusing others all the time of cheating or potentially cheating is because the reality is they’re not a very loyal or faithful person. Big red flag. *As human beings, we all project what’s inside of us.* 11:24 It’s not the woman’s job to be a man’s mommy or psychologist. He’s supposed to be your teammate - your partner. She doesn’t want a man baby that she’s got to take care of.

This girl sounds great, wanting to do the work on herself, communicate, being healthy, but, why does she fall in love with this guy? Why does she feel she deserves him, and abusive, insecure manchild? Is she a fixer? Another form of control by the way, attract slightly broken partners, so the focus is on the other person. She can, and will do better than this guy, time to focus on yourself, forget long distance relationships, they never work anyway.

From watching this video I've realised I'm one of those perturbable guys. I believe it is to do with my past although I'm not consciously focused on it. I've moved on pragmatically but not emotionally and unconsciously. And the only way I can do that is by acting out the opposite of my worst self.

This man has been a rock in the relationship advice community for years. It's such a shame now that we're seeing all these other guys crying about women and getting even more followers for promoting resentment and contempt. You see videos now calling women garbage etc. and it makes zero sense. Just a bunch if hurt men making an entire platform off open wounds. I commend Corey for staying consistent and always being that balanced, centered alpha male in the "red pill" community. Those women who used to criticise him years ago are probably looking at today's crowd of hyenas, realising Corey was the rational one.

I’m just curious. A lady and I had a fling a few months back and it didn’t work. She tried to get her ex back but failed. It was my fault it didn’t work. Anyways, she has no problems staring at me, smiling at me or looking scared at me while I talk to other women but she doesn’t want to talk to me. I can tell she regrets it. I could tell everyone and that would make a lot of people hate her but that’s a low quality act, which I won’t do. She “forgot” telling me one day she’ll love to call me her boyfriend. She even at a game tried to approach me but chickened out and third time it happened, she cried. What’s a good idea on my end? I’m not aiming to chase her or beg for her.

Classic game playing from a girl who has no self esteem. I personally wouldn't date someone like this but if you like her and she likes you then what is stopping you from just asking her out. It's easy walk up. Say "I figured I'd help you get over your approach anxiety since I can see you're struggling." Make fun of her a little but not serious or anything. Set a date. Hang out, have fun, and hook up.

"Being complete", "not fixing them", while l agree there's a threshold, but one might argue one is never really "complete", in a way, life is finding your way and there are lots of bumps on the road. Life ain't always a walk in the park for everyone as well, so what does that mean ? Most should stay single ? Perhaps. You can be incomplete withouy being broken yes ? Is the will to get better and better enough or is it red flag ? I can understand having a drive but sometimes it comes off as a bit elitist. But then again the animal kindgom and breeding are elitist areas l suppose.
