The difference between chasing a woman for attention & validation vs. claiming her as your own.
In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer who says there is a subset of women who say they want to be chased and wanted by a man and that men not bringing up the relationship first will cause these women to not to fall in love. He’s obviously confusing being passive and weak and letting women do all the work vs. being masculine and taking the lead that results in a relationship initiated by women. It’s a good email to illustrate the difference between chasing women for attention and validation vs. being masculine and leading women to fall in love and wanting to be exclusive.

You're the man Corey Wayne
@christopherarmstrong2710
@christopherarmstrong2710 2 жыл бұрын
0:40 There's a big difference between being a *passive beta male* who seeks attention and validation from women, vs. a *masculine man* who leads women to where he wants to go. 2:40 Men should be the leaders. Men do initiate the dating and the courtship, get the number, make a date, pick her up, go for the kiss, seduce her when the signs are there that she is open to being seduced. Your job is to just facilitate having fun and hooking up. 3:40 Women love mystery. They love a man who they have to work to get to know, instead of a guy who just lays all his cards on the table, talks about all of his flaws and faults like he saw in the movies, and then gets predictably friend zoned or rejected. 4:00 You want a woman who's into you, who's excited about you, who wants to know things about you. As a man, you want to feel wanted as well, you don't want it to be a one way street. It's much more easy and effortless to go out with someone who has high interest, that's what you're looking for. You're also vetting. You can't make good wine from bad grapes (don't try to fix a woman who's a train wreck). 5:20 Ideally you're looking for a teammate, an equal, who also has her life together and who knows what she wants, why she wants it, and is going after it. 6:30 The idea is to slowly reveal your cards, like playing poker (women are more attracted to men who's feelings are unclear). Because if you go out on a first date and just lay everything out on a table, and you tell her your whole life story, she gets bored really quick. Go out on enough first dates and talk about all your flaws, your shortcomings, about yourself and your accolades, and how successful you are, and see if you get a second date with that approach. 6:50 The idea is if you're the man, you're the leader. You're initiating a date, you're initiating a get-together. *When you create the conditions that every time a woman is around you she feels good - mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically she starts to like you more - especially if she has to earn **_you._* It's just like anything in life - if we don't have to work for something, we totally take it for granted. If she has to earn your attention and validation, and it's not just given to her automatically, she's going to appreciate it more. 8:10 Just being direct and decisive, making a date is being masculine and rare this days in soy-boy-millennial era. Says and shows that you desire her, that you want her. In a playful way, you're telling her what you want her to do. 9:10 Important to be a woman who you actually like listening to, or has something interesting to say, and is fun to be around. Because if you enjoy the sex but are turned off as soon as she opens her mouth, that's not what you want. You want somebody you actually respect, you like listening to and how her mind works, and she's fun to be around. 10:00 We make all decisions based on EMOTIONS and use LOGIC and REASON to justify our decisions. *Applying the principles in 3% Man pushes a woman's buttons emotionally the right way, in a natural way, that causes her to feel safe and comfortable expressing herself & her interest.* Ask a woman, "what do you mean?" "I don't understand where you're coming from?" Being a good listener and asking high-quality questions will allow her to tell you what she's thinking and feeling, because she feels safe with you and can trust you, and can tell you what's in her heart. 11:10 *Women can feel when you're into them, and when you're just using them, and also when you have no confidence and you don't know what you're doing.* 12:30 Long term relationship material women won't be out dating 15 dudes, because they're very selective - they know what they want and they're not going to screw around with F-boys, douchebags or guys that don't have their shit together. They don't need attention and validation from men, they're looking for a teammate, they're looking for an equal, and a man who actually knows what he's doing - and very few do. 15:00 There's no force / dripping with masculinity in their personality. ***When a woman is with a very masculine guy, she's going to become submissive, girly, and just totally submit to him and be putty in his hands.*** For a long term relationship, you want a woman who's easygoing and easy to get along with. 3% Man will bring out really bad behavior and lunatics really fast. 15:59 If you've chosen a good woman who comes from a good family background, there's a good chance you're gonna like the people in her family. If you're dating a lunatic who's a hot mess, her family is typically going to be a mess as well, and you're probably not going to like hanging out with them very much. These are things that just come with experience and time.

Dated a girl with BPD. At the time I didn't know anything about borderlines. It took a while for the red flags to show but something seemed a bit off. Maybe I chose to ignore them because she was smoking hot and the sex was great. Anyways, long story short, those are "good time girls" and you have fun and hook up with them but then you move on. You don't date a "good time girl."
