Agree on many things related to the religion discussion. For most of us, religion is a matter of convenience and this is across older and recent generations. What I also believe is that religion now is more about bringing communities together, and then you see that different cultures have different approaches towards practising their religion. The community aspect shows you how we can help one another in different ways and different stages of life. God worship is not bad at all, but only if you will respect all creations of God, you will be called a true God lover. And that respect has to be mutual. This comment is all over the place, but just throwing my feelings out here. 😅

I won't say profound. Ignorant, maybe yes. He calls Hinduism a religion which is not true, it's a way of life.
