If so, then those "fans" are effing insane. i think it's the idol culture and the way it's set up for maximum stanning in order to maximize profits, it creates unhealthy levels of obsession and turns fans rabid. Super mega rant after the cut lmao------------------------------------------------ Also, I believe it's screwing with fans on a personal level, I keep hearing fans say stuff like "I'll never get a BF because (insert idol name) ruined my standards", what they don't get is that people like this don't exist irl, they keep pining for a carefully constructed image that even that actor themselves cannot live up to. Just look at older SPN super fans who started watching the show around the time when it first came out, they're in their 30 and 40s, and they keep paying year after year large amounts of money that they don't have just to go to these conventions, buy merch, donate to their charities, and keep pining and pining after their favorite actor/s and hoping that someday they'll find someone like said actors. even those who are in relationships or married are still pining for them and even calling their children after them or getting into relationships with other super fans like them where they can stan and pine together and never have a normal healthy relationship, because even sex is roleplaying their idols half of the time (that's actually true, I read it on some super fan's blog a few years ago, she began a relationship with another female fan even though they were both straight and their entire relationship was stanning together and cosplaying and roleplaying as their faves. That's just one example because apparently such relationships between super fans are not uncommon in fandoms).

@@prettyhatemachine8887 late but, i agree with you. stan culture can be too much sometimes. they're idols and we are fans. this should be the limit of relationship. what xiao zhan went through is horrible. the worse thing is he did nothing wrong and he can neither blame the people who love him. the antifans are even worse, like why are they so obsessed with ruining someone's life who doesn't even know them? i've even heard stories of fans almost killing each other due to idols. or when wang yibo had to publicly plead his fans to stop putting trackers in his car. what even makes them think that they have chance to be something with ppl who they are completely strangers with. its weird. but i really wish that no one cyberbullies, stalks, or tries to kill each others anymore. i'm also fan of some idols, to me getting obsessed with their product is normal, i never understood the obsession with the idols themselves tho. i know few celebs personally and they're not different from us, just different that they're hardworkers and talented af in entertainment industry.

25:11 I'm consistently blown away by how Wang Yibo is able to look 16 years older in scenes like this, playing 30-something Lan Wangji as opposed to teen Lan Wangji. It's all in his posture and facial expressions and general mentality (plus makeup and hair, I'm sure), and he does it so well. It's doubly impressive, knowing how young he actually is.

Zhuo Cheng is so sweet behind the scenes! So different from his character (Jiang Cheng). It's always a pleasure to see how they all interact off screen, and how they were feeling about their experience. I honestly love that Yibo is always himself. He doesn't buy into the BS or try to play it up for the camera. He is just authentically himself. Some people may think that makes him cold, but I honestly think he is more uncomfortable. He doesn't like to talk much and these interviewers can be really invasive. I think that he isn't cold at all. I see so many behind the scenes moments and when he is on Day Day Up. He actually is rather warm. I think it is like Xiao said, he is just kind of shy and comes off as cold until he gets to know you. When she mentioned Xiao, his demeanor completely changed. Bright Vachirawit is a lot like Yibo too. They do things because they want to not because someone is making them. I personally do not find that childish at all
