Sounds like a great development for Until Dawn. I honestly wish that there's a path created to save Josh. Maybe have decisions made during the scenes with Dr Hill contribute to Josh being sane enough down in the mines to make his way out with Matt and Jess.

It's kinda crazy that The Quarry was actually meant to be Until Dawn 2. I played the original Until Dawn and The Quarry to get the platinum trophy. I'm not a big fan of The Dark Pictures Anthology. The acting is sub par in those games.

An Until Dawn movie should be a TRILOGY all filmed at the same time and released as three movies taking place in the same night. They'd make a ton more money and wouldn't have to cut anything major. Plus, the game is already basically three horror motifs in one (stalker-slasher, psycho funhouse, creature action).

I think that would be way to cruel. Usually I can enjoy movies and games but I am rarely able to really "care" for a fictional character. But Until Dawn had me "care" for Josh as far as that is possible for me. And "saving Josh" would mean damming him to a fate that is even worse than becoming a Wendigo. When I do a replay and aim for a "good ending" I always let Josh die.... may he finally find the peace he never had, has or will have in his life.

It's a remake not a Remaster. A Remaster is a simple port with visual and gameplay enchancements. The game remains same, same lines of codes and same engine. It's just they improve the overall environment and characters textures, imporve some gameplay aspect and call it a day. - Example: Mafia 2: Definitive Edition. A Remake is a what the name suggest, they remake everything again from the sratch, every single thing is remake again so from the original game a remake remains far different, they even changes some of the game storyline and dialogue as well and add bunch of new things which weren't present in the Original game - Example: Mafia: Definitive Edition.

Until Dawn is not part of The Dark Pictures Anthology. And the game is nine years old, and has not been updated to PS5. Also, this is the first time it will be released on PC, something a lot of fans have been waiting for. So it's not lazy, it's actually pretty smart and that's what a lot of players have been waiting for. Also, the game's really popular right now, so of course they're going to hop on the train and do something that will give them money.
