Since the sword is made from a medal specifically used to kill demons....why can't that same medal be used to make bullets? Why are they limited to swords? The butterfly hashira can kill them with poison so why can't they do some engineering with other weapons?

guns require bullets, which they can only carry a limited amount. On the other hand, as long as they have good enough technique and the demons aren't one of the upper moon, the sword will not break, which can be very helpful in prolonged fights

I forgot what the poison was called, but shinobu had a certain poison that killed demons when it's on her sword. So when tanjiro reached to those trees, I think the leaves of that tree was turned into poison for shinobu sword. So where tanjiro was, those trees keep demons out. Started with a W I know that. So the bullets would either made of that poison.
