With the closeness of Bin Laden's location to the Academy, it seems unfathomable that no one in the ISI knew as they would have full understanding of who lives in the land around them. Someone, perhaps an individual who knew Osama from the Soviet days, knew he was there and hoped he'd eventually die naturally.

Parvez Musharaf was a double player. He could have played a role without informing the military junta of that time. He lived a posh life here in Dubai. It is very likely he was paid $25 million bounty money.

@@akbarkhalidi1750 Most ex-Pakistani PM or President's live a luxurious life in Dubai or London based on the wealth stolen from Pakistan, so I doubt Musharraf cashed in the bounty if he knew. Someone must have known as that news would only have been known by one or two people.

Osama was given shelter and safeguarded by Pakisthani ISI. They were even taken aback by the American secrecy and swiftness. Had they known they would have shifted Osama to some another secret hide out. Basic Questions. Who owned the house in which Osama and family lived ?? People who sold the house ir gave it for rent Did not know anything about the man who hired it ?? It is a safe house owned either by Army or ISI perhaps with an individual as a front. Except this there cannot be anything. Now at present who Owns this house ?? I think Pak journalists never did any investigation on this perhaps ISI prevented it. State Terrorism support and taking money by indirectly black mailing seems to be the National policy. Gen Musharaf after denying vehemently Osama's presence in pakisthan for a long time had to hang his head in shame. Tried to recover by giving some silly reasons which no one believed. Protected Terrorist gone, Milking for money to search for him gone abd ultimately whatever little prestige left that also gone

The reason for USA not informing Pakistan was their reputation from their time with the coalition in Afghanistan. Pakistani military/intelligence laisons would attend briefings of a raid and then inform taliban/al-aqueda that Americans were coming, resulting in either failed raid or an ambush. Pakistan had lost trust because of their two faced behaviour.

In US, I was working for chem co and my Am PhD boss came to my office to discuss this issue to fellow PhD aftermath of death of Osama bin Ladin. He asked me, Do you think he was in Abbotabad and killed? I said probably not??? We have heard that Osama elder son was living there with Osama’s wives and children. The elder son was lookalike Osama?? I put a Scenario that if he was Osama, taken to Arabia Sea on to their ship. Why US Govt didn’t take the clergies of Islamic countries to show his face on their territory (US ship) not approachable by any foreign ship. US Govt could have taken the videos of clergies to show the World for 100% confirmation. My boss nodded his head and said your theory makes sense. I heard Gen Musharraf made statement that Osama died in Torabora???? MAY THE WORLD KNOW 25 years from now if US Govt releases the true picture of then.

This aspect that whether OBL was really there in the compound or not was not given proper attention. I met a guy who was repatriated from Guantanamo Bay who served as personal bodyguard of OBL, Accordig to him OBL was killed during Taraboora operation in 2004 ( or 2006) and that OBL was burried there. This is what that guy divulged to Americans during interrogation in Guantanamo bay. This is what Gen Hameed Gul had disclosed in one of his interview. I think this possibility is there. Therefore get OBL operation seems a false flag operation to provide exit route to the US from Afg.
