I am an identical twin myself, and my mom had us 11 minutes apart (no C-Section). She had her appendix removed just days before we were born (no anesthesia...) and was very sick. It was a miracle when we finally came out, and for her,she has said it was very spiritual (praying to God). Your story is so heartwarming to me, and I'm so glad Ashton and Landon made it OK and you are all safe :)

Thanks for sharing your story. I am a twin ! My Mom didn't know she was having twins until we were born. We were six weeks early and Spent 10 days in the hospital before we could go home. I weighed 4pounds 2oz and my sister was 4pounds 4oz. We were 4minutes apart..That was 65 years ago.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am sitting here In the NICU watching your video as I sit with my sweet newborn son Hunter. I actually discovered your channel while watching this is how we Bingham and when they said the title of your channel I immediately wondered if it was because of the same Holland story I had just been sent. Sure enough it was ! My son was diagnosed in utero with Downs syndrome and we just absolutely adore him. He came as a surprise at 34 weeks and is on oxygen support and a feeding tube. I know all to well how crazy it is with a toddler at home and staying with your newborn in the NICU. Covid has made it so hard we haven't been able to have any family visit and my husband can only come on the weekends during visiting hours. I miss them so much but we are just so thankful Hunter is growing and learning to thrive on his own. I love you channel and all of the encouragement through this tough time

Ava is rocking those swimming lessons!!! I feel for you on the birth of the twins! It is very scary when it's an emergency. My niece had Eli at 23 weeks and he was in hospital for 58 days and baby Alex was at 33 weeks but had complications and was in there for 64 days. I bet you are so excited for a new baby in the family! Praying for a safe delivery for the new one!! I got to see my niece and nephews plus 3 of my great nephews. I havent seen my great nephew Joel, who is 8, since before Covid started and when I walked into the house yesterday he says who is here and I said me, he screams Aunty Suzy I missed you so much and I got the biggest hug and kiss ever!

my youngest was an emergency c-section at 37 weeks due to a placental abruption i woke next day in ICU after needing an emergency hysterectomy and in june she celebrated her 21st birthday, sadly we lost her daddy when she was 17 but i know he would be very proud of the lovely young lady she is today, i also have a grandson called Ashton he was 4 in june, love the Binghams

Amazing story of your kids. I am a triplet. Mum told me that I came butt first. Lol. Back then there wasn't c sections a lot I don't think. The three of us were supposed to be born in October but we're born in July. All with complications. One passed away in October and never got to leave the nicu. Life is a very precious thing.

My youngest was born at 25 weeks and I was hospitalised for 3 weeks before that. I was 9 hours away from my husband and son at the time... that was a crazy 5 months so I fully did the craziness of bringing beautiful babies into the world.. mothers rock just saying 😘😘

That sounds almost exactly like my birth! I was born at 31 Weeks and spent a month in the NICU at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and also had to go back and forth to the hospital after I got to go home. Those of us that start life with the odds against them, make it out the strongest!

My mother-in-law dropped off freezer meals when we had our first little one in May since we couldn’t have anyone come in the house and we were SO grateful! I had planned to cook & freeze ahead of time but went into labour early. Lasagna, chicken divan & sausage penne were some of our favs!

I also have a twin with a heart defect so we just underwent our 7th OHS. I have twins who will be 27 this month...I remember all the physical issues carrying them, including high blood pressure...I gave birth them via csection 1 mth early...I had spend 2 wks on bed rest in the hospital and just couldn't do it anymore. I had gained 72 lbs and the weight was so hard on my back & legs. When they were born they weighed 7lbs 4oz & 7lbs 8oz....they were basically full term weight wise...I spend about 1 wk in, just to make sure all was well....they are the loves of my life...my 27 yr old babies are both 6 ft 4 inches and still give me great big hugs all the time....kids are definetly a blessing

Another thing I have in common with you guys. Unfortunately we lost our beautiful baby girl Sarah as my waters broke at 20weeks and I was put on bed rest in hospital but an Infection came and put my body into labour. Our Sarah was born at 22weeks and we had an hour with her before she went up to be in heaven. I am so glad your boys were ok

My twin boys were born at 36 weeks by scheduled section! One of them has to spend a week in the NICU for low blood sugars but they are happy and healthy 2.5 year olds now.

I had my twin girls in March of this year! They were born at 29 weeks. They were just over 2lbs when they were born! They were in the NICU for 82 days in a town 4 hours away, but we were able to stay there the entire time with them. I live in a smaller town so I had to be air lifted there and my husband had to drive so he was afraid he wasn’t going to be there for their birth. Luckily I had them the next day so he was there! Twins can definitely take you on an adventure! 😂

I totally understand the situation. I didn't find out I was carrying quadruplets until 20 weeks. Immediately put on bedrest. Spent 5 weeks at home and 5 in the hospital. I was also separated from my oldest daughter. She was 12 at the time, turning 13, 2 months after the babies were born. I delivered 1 daughter, and 3 sons at 30 weeks. The middle 2 boys being identical. They turn 22 this September. Just check out the McCalmant quadruplets on the internet. I am so proud to be a mother of multiples, plus 1!

I remember my 1st and last Swimming Lesson....yes, in the singular. At 5 years old, my Dad took me up the highest diving platform, held me tight, and off we went....feet first, and released me after hitting water, and I just immediately began Dog paddling upward holding my breath in, then exhaling upon breaking surface....I went back up on my own. That was the way I learned real fast. Not every Kid can do it, though.

Set up a meal plan with other family members! When it’s your night you make extra dinner you’d make for your own family and deliver it! Everyone takes turns so usually it would only be a few times a week if not less ☺️ idk how your family would feel with COVID about that idea but just a thought!

I just had my first baby in May. It was definitely weird that family could not be there. But it was also pretty nice because my baby was in the NICU the entire time as well, so we were able to be there with him instead of taking turns being with him. However, my husband and I were not required to get a covid test done.

Awesome story guys. I myself am a twin. My parents found out 6 weeks before we arrived. Mum had us naturally at full term. had to have a x-ray back in them days. I myself don't have twins but my older sister does. She had hers naturally. I have 3 lovely children and had c-sections with them all. My mother did say I wasn't a proper woman as I didn't have children naturally. Strange thing tho my twin has 3 children 1 born c-section and my younger sister has 2 children 1 born c-section and neither were told what I was. All children are a blessing and as a nana of 8 beautiful grandchildren I myself think we all do an amazing job.

aww your story about the twins made me cry I am a mother of 8 yes u read that right I have 5 boys n 3 girls I just had my last baby 4 months ago on april 11th n back then was when the covid was really bad I had 2 call the hospital n tell them my water broke n the hospital that is closest 2 me doesnt have a maturnity ward but my hospital was an hour away n the baby was coming didnt have time so the hospital that was closest 2 me said come on over n call us when u r here so we did that n my husband wasnt alloud 2 come in they came out put me in wheel chair n brought me right in2 an operating room n I had my baby girl Amanda she was 7lbs 5ounces but it was our last baby n it was really hectic but oh so worth it she is now 4 months old n doing awesome

My son was born at 27 weeks & 4 days weighing 2lbs 13 ozs ( pretty big for a premature baby) going down to 1lb & 10 ozs - he will be 32 in sept and is 6 foot 7 inches tall :) i understand all the fear side you went through, i did too, but then each milestone he reached was more exciting i think, he was pretty poorly for the first 5 years health wise - I'm blessed to have such a wonderful man as my son :) - p.s love watching you all :)

I have 12 year old twin girls and they were 26 weeks gestation. Our baby A is medically fine and our baby B has Cerebral Palsy as well. Nothing ever prepares you for the NICU and all the unknowns. Our stories are very similar. Children really are miracles!
