They really do, so I googled it and they are not sisters. The producers has done a really impressive work when it comes to finding younger versions of the characters, that look like them in present time. What I think they did is advertising pictures of the teens when they were 11 or 12 and searched for lookalikes and when they found them, they gave them same clothes and hair style as the characters. They look so much alike, we could believe they were filmed when they was at that younger age.

To those saying its exaggerated: YEAH THATS THE WHOLE POINT. For one, Rue is literally a drug addict with MULTIPLE disorders. The events in the show aren't actually that unrealistic, its just that in real life the experience of it all would be more mild. The exaggeration is a critical aspect of Euphoria being Euphoria. Everything is more realistic on emotional terms than realitys terms. This isn't how high school looks, but its how she felt. This show is art.

I think my favorite thing about the characters of euphoria is that we all, peripherally, know these people - someone with drug issues, an abusive couple, someone whos more popular online than at school, someone with hidden home issues or repressed sexuality or anger issues. Euphoria just consolidates those problems and people into a group of people that know each other.

This show feels like this generations Skins UK. There’s some parts that are exaggerated and the realities extended, but there’s bleakness mixed into the dazzling production that makes it so life like. I feel like everyone can relate to some part of this show, whether it’s the substance abuse like Rue, being a caregiver like Fez, exploring sexuality and gender like Jewels or being very naive to the world like Cassie. It’s refreshing to see something so raw but so entertaining at the same time.

I really relate to rue, i can see myself in each character. Looking back at this show kinda brings me back to my darker days as a teen but I think that’s why it’s so successful. A lot of us can relate to each life of the characters no matter if your in high school or not. The one major topic that Euphoria didn't cover is the struggle of teen suicide. I could totally see the show introducing a new character in the show with severe depression and have them attempt it but fail, talk to a psychiatrist, then eventually attempt it again and succeed. Then see how the rest of the cast reacts to the event. That is the one event that I would like to see them tackle in season 2. Since Euphoria is already tackling almost all of the major topics that teens in high school (and college) struggle with, why not have them attempt all of them? And hopefully, it is pulled off in a much more sophisticated manner as compared to 13 Reasons Why. Which ended up almost glorifying the idea in a way. .... Another topic that they could also tackle as well is cutting.

I understand how HE would feel violated, and he just said " I didn't consent" but his fans saying he should sue? The movie AFTER is literally an entire 1D fan fiction, written by a GROWN woman while the members were still minors where they just changed the names. At least Euphoria kept it like it is and didn't try to hide the fact that there are kids who wrote that weird stuff. Sam Levinson did a good job at representing gen z in this day and age.

I started watching this because i saw some videos on youtube about it. everything i saw related so much to my high school life, i finished all 8 episodes in 1 day. It was so much like my high school life it was scary. Loved every second of the show!

Euphoria is the only series I've watched where I want there to be more of it. The first time I watched it, I watched the entire series twice in two days. I really hope the series comes to some sort of conclusion after season 2. I feel like so many series are ruined by their publishers' desire to make more money by pushing out way more seasons than the series need. I want more of Euphoria, but Euphoria was so great, I feel like nothing will be able to top it.

Older people who consider the subjects “exploited” are completely delusional and ignorant to what’s going on in young kids lives right now. It’s shit like drug addiction, problems with sexuality, life changing decisions that make these teenagers what they are. They need their TRUE voices heard in a show. They need the bad. There are too many shows that only showcase the good.

The people speculating that true could be dead, as a means to justify how she knows so much about everyone is really dumb, some people are actually that smart, even though the show exaggerated how much she can know, for more exposition, she still does have that detective side to her, like when she was trying to figure out the connections between Nate, Jules and Maddie
