Met him after a +44 gig and he was a really nice guy. He stayed out in the freezing cold for ages making sure everyone got things signed.

Mark is literally just the nicest guy. I wish nothing but the best for him. I remember when he posted that he was cancer free, I couldn't have been happier for him ❤ Blink 182 were the first band I properly got into, and why I'm into the music I'm into today! ❤

My band played a music festival here in Aus at the end of 2019 with Simple Creatures and I was fortunate enough to meet Mark briefly in the artist trailer area. I didn’t want to bug him for too long and pretty much just used it as an opportunity to thank him for his work in Blink and how it influenced me as a musician growing up since I was 7 years old. Needless to say, he was nothing short of a genuine guy. He was really kind and thankful and the whole experience was very surreal. Super stoked that he’s beaten his cancer.

It was 2014, Mark Hoppus had come to stay in Rome for a few days, where I lived at that time. When I found out, I took the first bus at dawn to go to the hotel where he stayed, to get an autograph. Along with me many other fans. Mark came down in the street in front of the hotel entrance specifically to stay with us, talk a bit, sign autographs, even though he was there on vacation with his wife and kid. He was amused, you could see in his eyes how grateful he was to have his fans. The man is a legend.

I love blink and never really had a favorite. Mark seems to be a great person and I’m so happy he’s cancer free. I remember seeing the post about his cancer, my sister and. I cried. We grew up listening to blink-182. I can’t wait for a new album. Mark, just keep being awesome,

I had stage 4 DLB lymphoma I had chemo every 3 weeks 2 of those I was puking the third trying to look normal. After 9 months of chemotherapy I am cancer free chemo started on my 20th birthday the first round nearly killed me. I am I am so grateful for blink they were one of the bands that got me through I hate that I am in a chair as I have tickets to see them but its wayyyyyy up there hate it little pissed about it maybe they should think about that I am a bigger fan than most enema of the state was the first album i ever bought and I saved for the past 2 years to go $1500 and I am still so high up i probably wont even be able to see them. I went for my 1 year anniversary of cancer free and ended up bleeding and not able to see the rest of the concert. Wish anyone cared
