Cosmo also made appearances in the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy video game. I recommend playing it.

What people don't know is that the actor who plays Cosmo overcame a serious Milk Bone addiction in his early years in Hollywood, in and out of rehab, he lost over 20 lbs. True story and totally not something I just made up.

Given that Cosmo started as just a background character, and became a lovable pooch for the fans, tells me that there’s more to this character. While the idea of having an origin story to how Cosmo got his powers, and why he was chosen out of all the other dogs, seems like it would be a cool idea, but it’s how the idea will be executed that matters.

Cosmo looked a lot like Bobi, a 30 year old dog in Portugal and the record holder for oldest dog ever.

I came across that very comic, the very first Guardians Of The Galaxy. It wasn't graded or anyting but it was in damn good condition. It was in a hardback plastic and it had a $400 price tag sticker on it.

my golden doodle hates a racoon that lives near my house. They have had three stand offs, each escalating from the last encounter. My dog is a sweet, and docile, happy animal. But she just sees red when she sees the racoon. She really wants to protect the family, even though she scared of the dark, and standing water

@@darkmyro ...and in animated media, and the video game. It's just the MCU appearances that made him a girl. I'm fine with that as the actress playing Cosmo in the Holiday Special and Vol. 3 does a very cute giggle when Rocket throws her treats.

In the comics and video games, yes. However the dog Cosmo is based on (Laka) was female and so they made real homage to her in the new GOTG movie and Christmas Special by making her female. Which I feel like they should of done in the first place, considering Laka was female. Although I wish they actually cast a Russian actress and made her speak in broken English, so they’d keep Laka in there and make in more realistic (I strong doubt Laka would of heard that much English while in Russia in the 50s and 60s, at least not enough to pick it up, so Cosmo should of only been able to learn English once in space).
