thanks Zora. well we are hearing about 'hip hops' birthday today, so i just did some study and i can't say i get it( hip hop). actually, big joke when i listened to some 70's of it by a guy and the first thing he played was some jazz from the Cream bassist in 70 that these hops used. seems it was just all 'sampling' but who was writing anything original? further laugh, they even used a Joe Cocker who was white. at school in New York he said sampling but i didn't think it meant no writing. anyhow, yes, Parker and those funk cats are the real gig, and weren't they just part of the counter-culture too in thought? to me, it all went sour in the early 80's and wasn't the same again. Motown,soul,funk; you couldn't ever mess around with it. i'm rather dazed at the moment.

Group had so much drama and that's the stuff we do know Original funkadelic was strung out so they qut tawl ross went crazy, Eddie hazel was on a plane tripping on angeldust went crazy and he ended up in jail which made him miss out on the groups later success Heroin took out tiki, and Eddie Then the group was all introduced to crack cocaine including George Between sly, and Roger Troutman's issues with George and george not knowing how to run a label ended pfunk So many group members was performing for years with health issues and we never hear about it until they pass on

I was expecting something darker, like the Process Church of Final Judgment connection, whose members apparently used to spook people sometimes on Yonge St in Toronto.
