wow man, you have some very cool tricks! I used to do a similar thing in Reason a long time ago by flipping the rack around and sending squared LFO signals from Dr Rex to samples in NNXT...definitely going to try this as i'm using Ableton now

Man, when you first threw the filter delay on there, it sounded very Sasha-esque. Going to have to try this!

Pretty inspiring stuff. I'm not using Ableton, but this seems pretty easy to set up in any DAW.

Thank you ! Now we need to know to group the chain, use some macros and activate/desactivate some parameters in session mode, and ...have fun.

duplicate the LFO and set it to random. Crank the depth down to 20-10%. Set the speed down to 0hz and make sure retrigger is on. Now as the first LFO scans through it'll keep getting offset a bit and never be quite the same twice.

How is this in any way creating arpeggios? You are just scanning through samples, which requires samples that already have some kind of sequence in them....

I mean there's arpeggiation in the sample being manipulated in an interesting. I'm not a edm guy beside maybe jungle but I'm around heavy hitters in that field and can see the point being made here.

You don’t define per the tools used but rather the sound you generate.

I really like your way of thinking and tinkering, good stuff, can you route LFO to transpose in ableton? ^_~

The main part from your „track“ is made from other persons I don’t if you can call that music making. It’s all fun but why not make and use own samples ? You actually suggest loopmasters and splice 😅

What’s wrong with using samples? Btw. the sample used in this video was created by me.

I really struggle with building interesting drums and percussion, so for example for Hardgroove, or other techno. Any tips, or maybe a video, on how to creating interesting drum and perc patterns?
