I've watched this at least 20 times in the last 2 weeks. I keep listening to it on my way to work, at work, on my way home from work, at home, and every moment I'm awake and alive. This is some of the best techno/drumbandbass/dubstep I've ever heard. I can't believe these two (the upbeats) have been in the game for so long and I've never heard of them for so long. Thanks to bassnectar for doing a song with them in his new album. If it weren't for him I'd have never heard of them and I'm eternally grateful for that.

This set took place 5 years ago and has made my train travels 200% more pleasant. Saw The Upbeats live on Black Out in Utrecht once and it was just as incredible. Watching this and other sets on KZbin makes it clear that these guys perform at the top of their abilities every single set, simply because they enjoy what they do. A valuable lesson for all to learn from, with a fantastic byproduct (.mp3) as the cherry on top.

souvenirs ... What a mix, one of the greatest I have ever heard at LIR. I wish I could just teleport myself there to live that moment one more time. That was some crazy shit :) At that time LIR was something, really, the old edition of the festival, smaller, more small rooms with so many different kind of dnb styles, still less professional festival with less organization and more freedom. Sad that it became a "real" festival... I will never forget LIR from that period, best festival and greatest dnb feelings ever!
