Skateboards are a spectacularly natural resource-intensive product, reliant on the wood from 3-5 maple trees to produce one deck. And when it's broken we generally just throw the deck away; for the environmentally conscious skater, board-breaking can be heartbreaking in more ways than one. I go to umass lowell where dave and manny santiago are from. I drove past an "adopt an island" sign in downtown lowell that said "adopted by dave bachinsky and manny santiago" these guys made it grew up left the hood but still give back to the small city that made them them. So much respext for this dude.

if you have kick flips and back tails you can easily do it my friend. i was getting so frustrated trying to figure it out. you literally have to force your self to get your back foot on the ledge and you. and its all in your shoulders bro, i promise if you completely forget about falling or getting hurt, and you just say fuck it i promise you will get into it easy as hell. try approaching it at an angle instead of parallel with the ledge. it helped me get into it a lot easier. just go for it man, get passed that mental block and try what i said. you should be able to get into it and slide it. also be ready when you do get into it, you will most likely slide really quickly and almost fall. you just need to keep your center of balance on the ledge on that back foot. don't lean to far forward or even worse don't lean back. just stay fully balanced on top. i hope this kind of helps, i know its difficult to understand a trick through a message.

damn, ill try first thing after work tomorrow, plus it will be my birthday, so no reason not to land it...yeah got both + 15years skate, but never managed to get this trick. Did blunt flip outs on ledge no problem. Thanks a lot for the motivational words.
