The Uplift War (Spoiler Free Review and ranking on the SF Shed Ladder). 1988 Hugo Winner.

Tonight I review David Brin's 3rd Novel In the Uplift Series, The Uplift War. This novel won the Hugo and Locus award in 1988.
I provide a spoiler free plot review, talk to what I liked, what I didn't like, put the novel to a memory test and make some recommendations.
Our shed ladder continues to grow and I enjoy a few minutes to ponder where I will rank tonight's novel on our ever growing SF Shed Ladder.

I DNFd this about 2/3 through back in the early 90s. I’m not opposed to trying the series again, but it’s not high on my list. The Postman and Heart of the Comet are much better David Brin novels in my opinion.

I can understand that, I haven't read much Brin, I should give those a try.
