This is a video from 2021. Ana and I had been preparing for a major (lat to bicep) transfer surgery for almost two years. It was supposed to give her the ability to use her right bicep which would give her the ability to lift her right arm up to her head, brush her hair/teeth, etc. Something her left arm will never be able to do. - We had been talking about it, planning, fundraising, etc and this was the day we went in for the pre-op appointment. I know, what it is like to trust a doctor explicitly. Also, I know about having treatment changed midstream. I had my first surgery for cleft lip and palate at the age of 6 weeks. My last planned surgery was when I was 26 years old for the same reason.
