' Depth of field (DOF)`' is the key to that effect. I'm sure you can set your camera to manual exposure. Choose the widest possible opening (aperture) and a short exposure time. The wider the opening the bigger the effect ;-)

Great job on the garden Dan those trimmer blades don't last very long as I found out soon as I hit the blade on something it just breaks or comes off. The old fashioned wire types where best as soon as it broke you just wound a bit more out.

Dan you are talking about depth of field photo shots where the subject is clear and the background is Blurred Thus bringing your attention to the subject.... you have in mind the aperture/iris opens to let light in just like your eye Iris but the bigger the aperture the more accurate you must be with your Focus small aperture will not be fussy with Focus but it will not allow much light especially evening or dull So shutter must be slow Sunny day can have small aperture.... rough focus... fast shutter It all ballance but to make Focus very critical and so Blur 1M behind subject you need big aperture/iris critical focus Other effects like....follow racing car.... track or bushes blured but car is sharp becuase you follow it Now small iris needs slow shutter to allow light in. So again blur caused as things move in 1sec but not 0.1 sec fast shutter.... but that needs light Big iris you can have fast shutter becuase light gets in anyway When you have big hole :) Slow shutter can make good blur effect. Like car lights on a motorway Dan

I wear these trunks as underwear and I find they give pretty good support, as good as y fronts I would say. These strimmers with the plastic blades go through them like nothing on earth. I have one, but now prefer to use my strummer with the cut line. Thanks for another very entertaining vlog guys.😁🚐👍✋😊

Good video. My younger brother who passed away in October was a nature photographer. He had some good lenses for his cameras. He took the best bird pictures.

That lens will either be a 70-200 or 100-400 from the size, difficult to tell with the wide angle of your camera. Have you heard of “mpb” there a 2nd hand lens dealer, really good prices plus I think you can rent from them too to find one you like first 👍🏼
