Drew Gibson tried to rebrand the RPM Kotuku (overstable mid-range) as the "White Heron". It's a great disc, btw.

This season by Gannon will be hard to eclipse for a long time. Only see him eclipsing it or some new player that comes on the scene. I used to be a Gannon hater but he's grown on me a lot. I did think he got too good too fast and I did hold Josh's 3rd view for a while of he hasn't earned it he doesn't deserve it, but now that he's been on tour a few more years and I hear him talk and you can tell how much he prepares and cares. He still can be a little irritable and slow on the course but he's improved a ton. I still don't love him dominating, as it would bring me more joy if the wealth of wins and money is shared more as there's so many great disc golf players and personalities but that's rarely how sports play out lol. You can't not respect and be in awe of what Gannon accomplished this season though. Rick should have played a slightly better final round, but he would have had to shoot -12 to tie Gannon's score which is a tall task. I mean Calvin shot -13 but that's an insane course record. I look at Calvin's 8 on hole 12 round 2 as the reason he lost. One just brutal hole where honestly it was hard to tell if he really kept shorting it or kept hitting the rock on the OB line but regardless you cannot take a quad bogey and win. AB was the biggest actual letdown final round with a -5. He was definitely having issues with his finger, hard to say how much to attribute his mistakes to that vs. just bad play and/or mental game. Drew disrespectfully tried to rebrand the RPM Kotuku as the White Heron. Despised that.

After listening to Tom Brady announcing, Perkins sounds a lot like him.

The “AB is bad at putting” narrative is so wrong and overused. Dude had one of the best C2 putting tournaments I’ve ever seen and all anyone talks about is how he can’t make putts. But don’t look at stats just keep using the same anecdotal evidence when he happens to miss one.

agreed. when his stroke is right (an appropriate caveat for all aspects of golf) putting is a strong suit of his game, especially the step putt. his putting has kept him in more tournaments this year than it has taken him out of them. josh least obvious ab hater

Spot on. It’s like Philo with statements like “we all know AB has one of the highest ceilings, we’ll see if he can reach that” Or after a big c2 make “who is this guy?!?” Then it cuts to the discraft commercial of ABs 4 elite series wins this year lol

If AB made the putts he should have, and Gannon made the putts he normally does, Gannon would have won by 10. IOW, Gannon missed more shots than AB did through the tournament.

Josh even attempting to compare Buhr at this point to Paul's 2015 season is laughable.

A drought ? Rick has never won a USDGC !! That’s a huge tourney for someone of his caliber not to win.

He's been an AB doubter for years. He never thinks anyone that struggles with the mental game can overcome it.
