I replaced Karrthus with The Ur-Dragon when it came out. I like to use Phyrexian reclamation and Conduit of Worlds. I also end game cheating Omniscience into play with Ur-Dragon to play Tiamet going for Miirym, Lathliss, Terror of the Peaks, Scorge of Valkas, and anything else.

Morophon the Boundless and Fist of Suns do that as well, which also allows you to cast Ur-Dragon for free + commander tax if applicable. Get a dragon tutor like Svitri Dragon Master to put Tiamat on the battlefield, then you basically win

I have at least 3 big graveyard return cards. Morophon also makes the dragons cheap and using Tiamat I can always get him out

Miirym in this deck with terror and Dragonlord dromoka have won me many games. You definitely need to have Miirym in any Ur dragon deck

i always wanted to upgrade my dragon, but the good cards like ancient copper/ silver , oldgnaw and terror of the peaks are so expensive and i cant find them anywhere

Patriarcs Bidding doesn't work like that. Each player picks a type. Meaning the elf tribal player will get all their elves back.

You forgot to mention that with Morophon, the Boundless and Fist of Suns in play, all your dragons are basically free.

Solid for beginner UR Dragon player but not worth it at higher levels.

@@framzelgranada9088 fist of suns and Morophon is a great move however they’re incredibly expensive. If you’re dropping Morophon outside of turn 3-4 (and didn’t open with it, which would still not be a great keep) then you need something else. I personally try to win with the 99 since everyone and their mom wants to manadrain UR. Your best bet is dropping UR turn 2-3 with courser, tutoring in gnawbone and being up 10 mana. It will allow you to control the game and since UR goes back to the command zone wasting removal that early/it’s probably impossible to use anyway you’ll most likely win a few turns later. I’ve played hundreds of games refining the deck. I’m no prodigy but I’ve seen it work. I’ve played other KZbin UR decks and they are easy to pick apart. Biggest hurdle, you quite literally have to run the best cards in the world. Lol I run shocks however if I put the duels in, it’s not even fair anymore. Dragons are expensive in both mana and money

Why isn't chromatic lantern in this deck? Wouldn't that fix the need for certain colors?

It would be a good mana fixer. I've grown a bit of distaste for Chromatic Lantern, as at the three-drop slot, it feels less impactful when I see it. I opted in this list to go for more versatile mana dorks, to get me those colors. If I were to run something to turn my lands into rainbow lands, I would opt in this case for Prismatic Omen. Two-drop enchantment, lands gain all basic land types, does the job a slight touch more efficiently.
