Don't you think Umezawa counters the cards you have put in? A lot of +x/+x and eays to cast non 1/1 tokens which render her useless...

Another great card to add is Witty roastmaker: red 3/2 with a cost 3, and every time a creature enters under your control, you deal 1 damage to each opponent. With offspring from Zinnia, is pretty similar to the instigator, and you can have 5 cards with this effect in play (2x instigator, 2x roastmaster, 1x tremors) and deal 5 damage to each opponent every time you cast a creature. Now imagine cast 5 tokens in a turn withthia board 😂

Amazing ideas and win conditions! ....but I fear that cards like these will paint a target on your back by anyone who knows how this deck works 😂

Played this deck for the first time in a precon tournament today. Won my 3 pods at 1st place. This precon is INSANE.

Twenty-Toed Toad, not Twenty-Eyed Toad. I bought this deck and have been having so much fun with gift giving. I don't understand why they put something with poison counters in this deck, the instant an opponent sees that I get a great big target painted on my face basically.

I'm pretty confused. For Octomancer, wouldn't you receive the second 8/8 octopus? Whatever token they create, you create a copy of in their end step (limit to most recent)? That's how it was explained to me, this is the first review I've currently heard that assumes the second created token is on the opponents field. Can someone explain this one?

I really like Group Hug style decks because they should be built and played in the same way a stax deck is. I'd be tempted to build a "don't hug me I'm scared" style deck with spells like Cowardice to turn Ms. Bumbleflower into removal. Fatespinner can be a great use in this deck to really slow opponents down. We could also lean into green's extra land drop effects and play Storm Cauldron and Overburden with Burgeoning. We're even in the right colors for Privileged Position to protect our own board. i also really like Heliod, the Radiant Dawn in this deck

How do you Get the token engine going for the squirrels? I feel that’s the hardest part of the deck so far.

Really like the idea of cutting down on the aristocrat style, while still maintaining it in some small part. It finally ended up making room for some of my own pet cards. If you find you’re still having trouble with draw, ‘Ohran Frostfang’ is an alternative to ‘Toski’ that works well alongside him, and ‘Phyrexian Arena’ has its main downside mitigated by your stores of food.

1 question where are reaper king and horde of notions both are very strong and are problem cards and yes they are on the slow side but with the power they pack and the right deck build. They can and will win games against more powerfull commander of the same colors

Nexus of becoming is really good in Hazel IMO

I really want to make the tribal theme strong. My only thing with Hazel is, I want some big pays offs for all that big mana she creates. Something like crypt rats, exsanguinate, etc etc. On the other hand though having hazel out with nexus on becoming that exiled the myriad squirrel is actually bonkers strong

could someone explain why nomad’s assembly only triggers Bess once? Since it says “for each creature you control”, I would think they enter 1 at a time, as opposed to “create x, where x is the number of creatures” or something like that

Correct me if I'm wrong, but scurry of squirrels, by itself only makes 4 tokens, in a 4 player game. If A attacks B with cardboard, create a token for players C and D, then do it again. A to B is cardboard, C and D each have 2 tokens attacking them, with a total of 5 scurry of squirrels

Does Peregrine Took go infinite with Chatter fang if you make a token? If whenever you create a token, you create an additional food token. That additional food token would create a squirrel which would create a food token and so on..

One thing I noticed, you cut a lot of the Spider creatures, which makes sense, since they're not food or squirrels However, I feel like the deck might become very weak vs Flying, since those spiders seem to be the bigger source of Reach we had. Any thoughts on that? Thanks!

Been testing this commander out for a week now. Went the heavy Angels route and the deck feels pretty busted. Getting to play some of my favorite pet cards in there, too.

I think more Land amp is needed and less food stuff a focus on token creation and swinging with your tokens seems like a better way to win quickly food tokens are way too expensive at 2 mana to activate i almost never have the mana to use then in any food token deck the trade off being 3 life is just not worth the 2 mana especially since you are usually needing food when you are about to die

Junkwinder's cost reduction also applies to paying to offspring it, btw, because offspring is an additional cost
