I think you and I should hang out some time. I've always thought about walking Yonge St. and going to Bessarion. I heard the bike trails along the lake reach all the way to Hamilton. Wouldn't mind that trip, either.

but you didn't actually go to the end of Yonge Street! It starts up again in the Holland Marsh as a little dirt trail for a bit.. The true end of Yonge Street is at the intersection with Ravenshoe Road! www.google.ca/maps/@44.1798639,-79.5119331,16.5z

You are impressive, I love walking above anything else but cant see myself achieving it anytime soon. My cousin and I walked from around King station to Davidsville one very late night as we missed transit and that is only one third of your trek and it was painful by the time we got home

Hehe. Love the tone of your videos. How much of it did you actually walk? 80 or so miles obviously not walked in 2 days, surely.
@jeremywoodcock8 жыл бұрын
+Liam Walls Thanks a lot! I think the technical distance was something like 60 km, actually.

You know that when you google search it, the information on the right says that it's 1,896km, presumably. A relic from an incorrect record from guinness... That's quite the mistake to make! =)

Well done, sir - although I'm a bit skeptical that you got from the Emerald Isle to Silver Lakes Golf course in just one day - with daylight remaining :) !!

I enjoyed the video but I have to ask - did you actually walk the entire length of Yonge Street? I've walked every meter from Lake Ontario to the edge of the Holland Marsh (not on consecutive days though) and there's one section that you seem to have skipped. You show lots of details from the start up until Emerald Isle motel. But the next morning, when it's "time to hit the road for day #2", you're at Yonge and Bloomington Road. That's 14 km farther north (easily done by bus). There was no video of anything between Emerald Isle and Bloomington Road (which includes downtown Richmond Hill, a short rural stretch, then Oak Ridges). Taking the bus shrinks day two from 35 km to 21 km. It's an impressive distance either way, but I'd like to confirm the actual distance covered.
