The gameplay of Mechwarrior 5 is split in two different parts. On the one hand you will have to manage your resources, hire new crew members, outfit your Mechs and travel through the Inner Sphere star map. But the action starts as soon as you get into the cockpit of your Battlemech yourself to fulfill contracts on the battlefield to earn more C-Bills and progress the story. I will review the weapon systems, battlemechs, show you how to build the loadouts and train your pilots and take a look at all the different mission types and upgrades of the MW5 Heroes of the Inner Sphere DLC.

28:41 If you hit "Q" VIEW CONTRACT, you can renegotiate the alocation of the points. Useful in some multiple missions, or when you make changed your mind, like in this case.

Great urbie derby! Now I've got to watch Tex talk about the urbie. Again.😂 I like the eight parts for a new Mech approach. It changes the playstyle from getting new Mech parts to getting better weapons and equipment. Because you are using your existing Mechs for longer it makes sense to optimize them. And every new mech feels like a milestone.

For ambushes, have your friends hold fire when you park them so they stay put until you focus fire them and yes their agro radius is huge when just parked and left on weapons free. I had one go a 1k meters chasing something from his hold position once.

Squadmate AI in MW5 infuriates me. I generally spend most of my mission time waiting for them to bumble their way over to me.

So sad at 10:38 and more sad that I can´t hammer the like button not more than once for rest of the episode. The Dervish is good medium. From what I saw in start of the build I think Double Heat Sink Kit and some Heat Sinks + 2x SRM`s 4 and 2x SRM`s 6 + Ferro/ or better Endo and you are good to go for mostly anything, if you are in for a brawl.

Bara double check the machnine guns in the urbie, I think you have 3 tier 0's in it (you could pick higher tiermg's for the urbie and use the tier 0's for the cantina mission)

Can you drop down the salvage requirement to 6 parts for mech assembly? Waiting weeks for the assembly of a light mech is brutal.

taking rare mech parts like the jenner IIC is sort of meaningless since you will probably be on a full medium lance, maybe even have a heavy mech before you see ebough parts for the jenner. just my thoughts, i would take the csrm6 with ammo and the dhs kit for imidiate upgrades to your medium mech. also your eventual salvaged jenner might not have any good parts either (60% for each item in the mech to bed there depending on if the component is in is trashed or not.also removing bad traits is not worth it on pilots with a cap less than 60 (takes too long and cost to much, better to rotate them out. also try to run 2 pilots for each mech you run in you lance (to keep them from being fatigued and bruised saving you th trouble of firing pilots because of acumulation of negative traits.

i recommend you simply dont play the missions in the first map. its unwatchable
