The best thing about lawn signs is that I know who is a loser that I should avoid. My city had one for repealing ranked choice voting which is just openly anti democratic. Also, at least here in MN, sometimes the proposals have it where a no vote counts as a no.

As someone who worked in a bakery for years, “walk in oven” is an overstatement. It’s a big oven for a baking rack to slide into to bake multiple sheets of pastry or bread or whatever at once. Every control is on the outside, every oven I’ve worked with has an emergency lever on the inside in case it closes, and the ovens do lock during baking. Even though they lock during baking, you can always emergency stop the oven from the outside at any time, and you should be able to use the lever on the inside as well. The whole thing is super sus. Most of those ovens require a lot of work to get closed and started as well. You have to physically turn open and closed a big lever handle to actually close it shut, and then there’s programming you have to enter to start the bake cycle.

Quebec is having the same issues with becoming semi privatized. A clinic here in Montreal which has historically been THE place for trans people to go through went private several years ago and because of that it's now become extremely difficult for trans people to get health care through the public system.

I feel like quarter-life crises are 100% a legitimate thing now. Not to be too doom-pilled, but I think the crisis hits when an individual hits the wall society puts up to halt their upward progression. And unfortunately since the millennial generation (late-stage capitalism), that now hits in the mid-twenties.
