Shes one of the most popular vtubers and i think its pretty clear why. On the first glance shes very funny and memeable - like you say, her avatars expressions along with her voice are immediately funny. Beyond first impressions, shes one of the most entertaining to watch because of her funny and witty banter, even when just playing solo, talking to chat. One thing i want to note is the importance of Minecraft - which she plays a lot. I think its the perfect game for a group like Hololive because of its creative and collaborative nature and persistent world. (as in a always running server that doesnt get wiped - its been running for over a year now i believe) Generally speaking, collabs are better than solo streams. Two or more people bouncing off of each other is almost always more fun than a solo stream. Minecraft naturally creates many opportunities for essentially impromptu collabs, creating friendships, rivalries and all kinds of entertaining interactions - simply because they meet each other randomly, see each others creations, can help or prank each other etc. It shows off the girls' creative side, what they create doesnt stop existing when they log off - and the server itself becomes a sort of history of the things that happened in it. For someone like Pekora whos a bit shy and doesnt do planned collabs as much as some of the other girls, i think it makes a significant difference in the growth of her popularity. Certainly it created many great, memorable Hololive moments. OR - a competing theory - when watching her streams, her BGM brainwashes you into addiction and you cant stop watching her.

is there someone who is not a fan of Pekora tho? XD she is one of the funniest girls to watch, her personality just clicks with people so easily. This experience is about the most outdated ones, and also has a lot of content cut because of the hololive moments incident sadly. we love to bully her as much as we love her to bully us. is a very lovely relationship. But being serious, Pekora is such a lovable girl, she is a trouble maker, but she is also one of the most respectful girls in hololive, she cares a lot about people. You should really watch the "recent" PekoMoona Minecraft arc, the biggest character development in the recent hololive. That game is super bunny man, the colaborations of that games between the different members are always very fun, there is also a lot of translated content about it, its really really fun. those games are the 1,2,3 switch or something like that if i remember correctly, also the other girl that was with Pekora is Nekomiya Hinata, a very popular indie vtuber, she is not part of hololive but its friends with Pekora and other members. Edit: also i ask again, should react to the holo rewind 2020 by aonahara and hololive resorts, its amazing for getting to know every girl.

@@MrDezokokotar i know that very back in the day, i am talking about debut dates more or less, Pekora was not very loved because she took her character very seriously, and people did not really like her being as mean to everyone. Luckily she started being more like herself

@@everfall8886 Intereseting. Is being mean supposed to be a trait of her character? I know shes supposed to be a Pekoland princess or something. I definitely get the "taking the character too seriously" part. I much prefer them not playing into the character too much - most fans do, clearly, since basically everyone in hololive found that being more genuine makes them more popular AND its just less work for them. Win-win - unless your real personality is unlikeable i guess :D

@@MrDezokokotar mean is not the word, more it was similar of what she is today but without her soft side showing up, she was a bully type of character, setting traps and such. But back in the day, people did not know that behind all that, Pekora was a very introverted girl, and that she was a really soft outside the camera, that changed when she started opening a bit more with her community
