@@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic For the broken WIFI example, why did you use " عطلان " and with the broken car example you used " معطلة" ..thank you.

Tons of good examples here! I have a quick question and maybe you've mentioned before but, which county's pronunciation are you using? I watch several levantine channels so just trying to get a better idea of all the pronunciation differences. Thank you!

Is there not a mistake a 6.05? You say, example 1: "it's ykün", but "tkün" appears on the screen. I suspect that "tkün" is correct because "sayyara" is feminine, right?
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic4 жыл бұрын
Exactly, tekun for feminine vocab and yekun is for Masc.

At about 13:11 should it be رح نكون بدنا ? Thank you so much for your lessons.
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic Жыл бұрын
Either should be ok, but kept with "He" so it's easier to conjugate but can conjugate the verb to be as well
@kriskilpatrick Жыл бұрын
@@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic OK, does this 'rule' hold for the verb كان alone or are there other verbs were one may conjugate with "He" and not be concerned with the other subject pronoun conjugations?
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic Жыл бұрын
@@kriskilpatrick just this verb as it would be hard to form with others
@kriskilpatrick Жыл бұрын
@@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic Got it. Thank you for the clarification!
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic Жыл бұрын
@@kriskilpatrick just كان but there are other helping verbs some do get conjugated and some don’t. Make some examples so I can guide you
