It's definitely a beautiful song. Someone very special to me wanted me to listen to it and I begged him not to b/c I thought it was his way of saying goodbye b/c I had never heard of this band, nor this song. But a few nights ago I forced myself to listen to it and realized it was the opposite of what I thought he was trying to convey. It made me feel so much better.

When I was five years old, my dad committed suicide. Leaving me and my little sister and my mother. However, my mother was sent to jail and was forced to part with me and said sister... When we listen to this song, we always state that this was his song... In his note, he said that the blamed everyone. His parents, my mother, everyone... BUT, he loved me and my little with all his heart and didn't blame us. He said in the note, that this was for the better of protecting me and my sister **because he was sexually, verbally, and mentally abusive towards us, mostly me because my sister two and I was five around that time** because he didn't want to hurt us anymore... So, in conclusion, when we listen to this song... I cry... Because, to me, this is his song...
