The Used is one of the only bands I felt I *had* to go see one day. I'm talking, take my money, please, type of stuff. Firstly was My Chemical Romance, who I saw on their Black Parade album tour. I chose to go to the concert over prom. Worth it, Muse opened. Anyway, I ended up seeing The Used in 2013 when I heard that they were going to be doing Warped Tour. I was like, not only do I *finally* get to do Warped, but I get to go just for The Used? This is fate! They did *amazing*. I could have cried. They were so good! No, great! Bert even spoke to us: Got the crowd psyched. lol I pushed my way to the front, because, honestly, that's the only way to enjoy it. There was a mosh pit that helped me get to the front because after he divided it, people scattered and swayed as crowds do. After he divided the crowd into two halves, he gave us some loose chalk and instructions on when to open it. I came out of that set, sweaty, chalk-doused, and completely satisfied. After, I went back to the merch table for The Used. There was a tip box for the guy manning it. I wrote a note to The Used about the greatness of their show that was not lost upon me and how thankful I felt, wrapped that note around some money, told the merch guy that I reeeeeeeally wanted the band to get it (He said he would, but I *know* he didn't lol), and dropped it in the box next to the guy. Also, it turns out that Hawthorne Heights was there too. Not a band that I *had* to see, but I did and they were really good live. JT came over the pit and sang a good two songs there and encouraged a mosh pit. Waaay better than expected. I used to get a baby feel from them, but I don't anymore. lol
