The most useful rule of thumb for me has been to not just go through the motions. I constantly have to tell myself to be conscientious

More how to study videos please! How to study Microbiology would be great. The way you break things down is unlike any other youtuber. Myself and many others very much appreciate your content, thank you!

Amazing video. During my prep I went through phases of “ IDK” just pick one n scored 70% in U world and phase of “ stop and think “ n scored 90% so I absolutely concur with ur idea.

As always, what an interesting video and what a great value it brings. Sometimes the most obvious things are the ones that one omits and are the ones that can contribute the most to improve performance when answering questions. Keep up the excellent work.

A video that definitely puts important aspects of preparation in perspective again. Especially when going for 2nd pass of Uworld students tend to make these mistakes.

Focusing on practice questions. There have been studies that show if you give students exams without lecture and do not give them the opportunity to review those exams, they still learn more than students who just receive lecture. This is to say, taking questions is a form of active learning and practicing your thinking, even without reviewing the right answer!

Santiago so you recommend only solving questions in study mode but not even knowing why they were right or wrong?

No, not at all!! The explanations are still important, but those few sentences can be found in all sort of books, videos and flashcards. Quite literally everybody reads them, everybody has access to the same facts, which is to say, the facts by themselves are not the key. By all means read them, but focus on using them when it matters, when facing the challenge.
