Don't have many friends...my small family seems to attract the ones that bring a lot of drama and issues...not that I mind..but trying to figure out how to raise money to get my house finished I don't have time. Have you ever thought about doing ties like this for a living...maybe going to events like weddings or something and doing the unique ties there

I am a licensed hairstylist, at my best friends wedding this summer I did the entire bridal party's hair, and tied all of the groomsmen's ties! Crazy, fulfilled day! Sometimes, few friends can be a good thing! I have very few people that I consider genuine friends, and they are people who will tell me the truth, even when I don't want to hear it! I completely adore them.

If you are creative, the best thing I can tell you is to trust in that God given creativity. Your gifts will make room for you, that's how I ended up doing tutorials, it was completely by accident, but was as a direct result of being creative and not being afraid to be different. I am a hairstylist and a teacher, my plan was not to do KZbin vids like these, but the way I dress sets me apart too, and has always given me an added edge. Be yourself honey, it pays off. 😊

I know it sounds weird or looks weird that a female is taking an interest in tying a tie. I think it is amazing. It is beautiful but I need to get different ties for these. I only have the one that is mine...And it's the fifty shades one and doesn't seem to do so well. Any suggestions as to fabric type?

+Keri Moseberry It's not weird to me at all! At any rate, you don't have to spend a ton, but I have several silk and polyester ties. I purchase them based on how much I like them. For Intricate knots, try to stay away from really busy patterns (except paisley for some reason it seldom clashes) and dark colors, they hide the definition of the knots. I don't really care much for walmart ties, they tend to be really thin and don't hold up well for most detailed knots.

I saw your videos and just had to try them. Unfortunately like I stated...I only have my fifty shades of grey tie and to get your looks...it won't work.
