I can't believe Lisa was cut off when talking about the inland China manufacturing, it was so interesting!! pls soon do a segment on it or revisit the topic because I'm sure many of us would loveee to hear the process and Lisa explains it so perfectly it makes it super understandable for those not in the business world! She is so intellegent wow its so inspirational

As a man, I genuinely find it helpful when y’all talk about stuff guys do. I either go “oh shit do I do that?” Or I’m just more aware when I see other guys do it. Like “being attacked” is just feedback on behavior to improve or change or just letting you know how others perceive you.

I’m obsessed with this episode! I’ve been waiting to hear about Lisa’s creative and time management process. Also the way she cut herself off when I know we were all TUNED in on the tech-y stuff. I wish there was an episode to deep dive into her world, her thought process on creating some of her character lore, and how she funded/invested in her art from the beginning. There’s so much that goes into taking that leap! Ugh such an icon!! Love you both 💖

It's so Alythuh to read ahead and prepare answers beforehand, I love that (studious and genuine earnestness) about her and it makes her so unique in the pod world!! Love and appreciate you!! Keep slaying!!! I already miss Rae and the squad while they're in Japan ;w;)

I loveeee hearing about Lisa’s life dude, especially the part about turning her creativity into a business. I wanted to hear more about her “why” and motivation to start selling her art, and more nitty gritty details about how much personal money she had to invest on supplies and her belief in herself to just go for it. I totally relate to her story of growing up with a dad who was a criminal and all the trauma she’s endured because of it. I’m a Cancer sun, Aries moon, Virgo rising, Gemini Venus, and I feel like it’s hard for me to focus on being disciplined about my creativity after I’m done working because getting dopamine from screens ends up taking precedent. How do you deal with that, Lisa? Love you both so much 💓 thanks for always putting so much energy into making these little pockets of cozy for us on the internet!!

Lisa is such a grounded and oriented business woman and it is soooo inspiring despite not being in the field myself. It is genuinely so intriguing to hear her run through the process of being in this field, creating, finalising products. UGH. So cool!

What I love about this podcast is what they've been saying a "mess".! Rae and Lisa's dynamic just the two of them "yapping" and crashing out just adds another 10 years of my lifespan. More episodes just the two of you please🙏❤😊

For the boring sex life question, Rae and Lisa are absolutely right that communication is key. There are many different ways to communicate with your partner about your wants and needs. Something that can help is doing a yes, no, maybe list. Complete the lists separately with a time frame of a few days or a week so thought and intentional answers are put on the list instead of just letting anxiety dictate answers or putting what you think your partner wants. Set aside some cozy time and then have an open, honest, no-judgment discussion afterward to see what you both are open to and what specific boundaries you need to establish. It can be terrifying to initiate this kind of conversation but if it is approached as wanting to learn more about your partner and have a deeper intimacy and connection with them. I have also had potential sexual partners do the BDSM quiz online and I would also retake mine and we would share results and talk about it. Hope this helps! love this podcast!

as someone who just recently started designing, making, and selling stickers from my bedroom, i loved hearing the step by step details of lisa's product design process! while all the business aspects sounded overwhelming, im glad she shared some of the bts work that goes into a creative business, it's a lot more helpful than the curated bts inspo videos that only show the glamorous side of things :)

About the men feeling attacked... like they said, if it doesnt apply, let it go. But if you feel like it does apply, reflect on that. Sometimes people need to be told that they're in the wrong so that they can do better going forward.

For the How to Make Things segment I didn’t find it boring at all ! I would actually love either Lisa’s own KZbin video on the subject or maybe even her own episode where she can further go into depth about the process. I’m sure a lot of people looking to maybe start their own business would love to know the inner workings of how to go about things, especially if it’s a solo endeavor

Just wanted to say I think it'll be fine to backlog some episodes as long as the content isn't super focused on current events. Something I've noticed is that some podcasts date themselves really hard by hyperfocusing on recent events and if I'm a new listener going through older episodes in the catalog, I'll skip all the episodes that are too "dated". So I think making the backlog episodes more "evergreen" in that they don't touch on current events and are more about sharing your pasts and or really digging into one topic (for example the businesswoman discussion was super interesting) could be worthwhile!

I love this podcast BUT I have something to say after watching all of the 16 episodes! I hope this podcast becomes hosts-focused rather than guests-focused ESPECIALLY since it's fairly new. I get that certain guests bring up the views and give exposure to the pod but I fear that we don't know much about the hosts. Like their weekly tea or drama of the week and talk about viral topics at the moment. ALSO in guest episodes, I notice that it turns into an interview when most podcasts with guests are conversational. I appreciate the efforts ya'll are making. Great hosts, great set, great PD, great crew, and great pets.
