Daniel you helped me more than any therapist in 30 yrs. I read Alice Miller 5 yrs ago. It led me to you. I read all your essays and took your guidance. My daughter who is 38 was my witness. It made our relationship second to none. I'm blessed with a daughter who is compassionate and non judgemental. I was more intelligent than any therapist I ever had. I continue to journal, watch your videos and find my truth. My life is good. Thank you for everything you give to trauma survivors and helping us to become trauma thrivers.

Daniel, u describe here my deepest wound and longing. Im almost 40 and never found this persin despite having lived across 3 continents. People are incredibly shallow, judgmental and too closed hearted. The social masks and personas they wear in public are thick amd inpenetrable. They dont want to bear their truth and dont want to see yours. They love and uphold lies and delusions. I have suffered everyday of my life the reality of being surrounded by liars, and I braved the endless assults that came as a result of my honesty in hopes of embodying what I want to see in the world. Hpnestly my loneliness sometimes becomes unbearable. The suprrficiality feels like an ocean Im drowning in. You are one soul with the same longing as I.

I totally can empathise what you're saying here, i mean it's the same for me and many others too. Though you may feel alone being in this conundrum physically, be rest assure that you do have millions of "friends" in spiritual realm, around the world. There is no doubt, based on so many videos i have been watching on youtube, the experts, thinkers, philosophers, scientists, spiritual teachers, etc. all of them are kinda saying this one thing and it is being said like constantly and consistently across the board- the world is going to the direction of madness, destructions, destabilizations, etc. Therefore, all the deceptions, tyranny, manipulations, all these "fake" people (i dislike to call them fake, but you know where i am coming from), etc. should not surprise us at all. It does make sense so very perfectly. We acknowledge it, there is no denial of it, it is inevitable that it is what it is, so now we have to move on to think how to survive in this climate we are in. That's the most critical part that make all the differences. I need to keep telling myself, don't worry about anything. Anything! World is going mad, i don't care. What i care is, i don't want to become crazy and hopeless and shit. I've got to survive, help will come in many ways but if it isn't, the worst case scenario will for sure turns out to be the best case outcome for me which is death, an end to our longly awaited goodbye to this mad mad world. There is no more suffering for me. When i sad or grief or mourn, simple suffering, it was me just waiting to die, but what a waste of time to just wait to die. That sucks. That bores the hell of me. I'd rather get up and do something, anything will do, it will be perfect life. Get up and do something. Anything.

I am a live caricature artist and love making meaningful conversations with whoever sits down for me. I sometimes convince myself that I am meant to be there for the people I'm drawing and give them a unique experience by allowing them to share without judgement and in turn I like to think it helps me capture their likeness better. I had a man from Europe tell me that his visit to this America was at first without reason, yet after speaking to me, he said he had found why he had traveled. We both cried within 20 minutes or so into our conversation as I drew him. It was a unique experience that I feel that not many artist who do what I do bother to entertain. I feel great giving people a legitimate human experience. Thanks for sharing Daniel

Radical honesty makes people extremely uncomfortable.
@seabee56953 жыл бұрын
In that statement lies the answer. Our world is going Cold to one another. We are on the Brink of disaster within the realm of our accepted Behaviors. When we allow ourselves to be Completely Honest... With those around us. With Ourself. The act of it, displays vulnerability. And for most people, experiencing someone's else's weak moments evokes sympathy, empathy, and perhaps compassion. It tugs on your heartstrings a bit. This IS the point that We can BE PRESENT with our emotions. To FEEL Love for another human being, without needing to attach anything negative to the experience. WE ARE THE ANSWER. There is great power in humbleness.

Its funny how you said about paying the therapists to listen and to be a human being. Its why Ive always felt agaisnt therapy , not because it wont help, certaintly can if you do find an attuned therpist, but its still mad that have to PAY for what should just be a given between humans. Connection. Its basically like paying someone to love you.

You seem like a good person and if they are not able to give love like they should,it is not something about you.it is a shortcoming and brokenness in them.you do not really need to be divined by that, detach and grow and develop every good quallity that is inside yourself.selfreliance will give you peace and strenght.THere will be loving people along the way.Be good to yourself and overcome toxic persons,even if they are family,you can not change them,but you can change the way you perceive them and yourself. The value of being able to share and share openly. It’s so true!! I would never have thought that this was the salve my soul needed to curb my anxiety-avoidant issues and all the acting out behaviors that came with it. Unfortunately, this place of sharing and being able to share openly was not at all a privilege I had growing up. My parents (especially my mom) were highly anxious and judgmental with a preconceived sense of who I should be. My dad would give the facade of listening he would listen to respond, instead of to understand. I’d say it’s not only being able to say our piece but to be in a place where it can be received, accepted and honored is also just as important (especially when we’re young). Therapy has since given me the voice to now be able to say my piece to others regardless of whether they can accept it or not.
@pod93633 жыл бұрын
I think back to what you said about people not being able to understand what they've done before they've understood what happened to them. This has to be the crux to being able to fully heal. Because the bad things that people do are like... what... .000001% of the things that have happened in their life? Even that's generous. Like tiny hair-thin blips on a massive timeline of their lives, and all people wanna focus on is the blips without fully digging into what set the stage for that stuff. Like seriously think for a sec. Let's say a guy kicked his dog in a fit of anger when he was 17. That moment lasted maybe at worst 10 seconds lets say. Ok. That 10 seconds doesn't just come out of nowhere. There had to be days, weeks, fucking YEARS of stuff that eroded their empathy away, messed with their head, ground down their soul to the point where something like that was even an option in their mind.

I use a voice recorder as an impartial witness of the truth if I have no one to confide in (which is always the case unfortunately). I noticed a general decline in all professional fields I have seen from the advent of cell-phones, as the cell towers were built to cover all in 1997, Sweden being radiated with very much stronger border values than other countries. They became much more nervous, weak, picky, manipulative,deceitful, lazy, superficial, stressed, irritable, unprofessional, - all of which are side effects of microwave radiation. Yes, Daniel, the cell phonies do "listen" and save all our talks and activities, and so do computers. Edward Snowdon shows how to remove them. Also the much increased stress by all the radiation makes people less inclined to talk with each other, compared to before. The new generations are a different species, lacking the foundation of family traditions taht grounded, calmed, structured us in some ways, helped us keep together and had some calming effects. Woe those who don't replace tít with something equivalent or better now. We know that the human being needs spirituality, transcendence, a Higher power.
