I've been riding for decades. I asked questions, observed, helped my shoer at the time handle difficult horses, absorbed information, after 50 years I'm still riding and learning. Thank you for helping people understand we all learn differently and to keep open minds. Horses are no different...physically and mentally.

I grew up showing small local shows in the Shenandoah Valley of VA. As a kid, all the local trainers were so kind in helping me learn. I went back 50 years later, and those same people were there, and after I introduced myself, they were delighted to see me - I thanked every one of them - the horse community is wonderful.

I certainly agree. You can learn so much. I certainly hope to come see you one day with the young lady who comes and rides with me.

I’m going through saddle fitting issues right now. Somehow I just can’t see myself spending $300 + on a saddle pad. Is shimming a temporary fix that’s okay? I’ve been ponying my horse off a Polaris keeping him fit, muscled up and working while waiting for my saddle to arrive. He seems to enjoy getting out for 4 or 5 miles every other day. Walk and lots of trotting. Thanks for what you do.

Love it! Yes I have my “everyday”trainer and I have my “competition” trainer. I’ve done clinics with several other trainers over the years.
